Yeah, it transitioned between the two versions cleanly.
Maho in the video and thumbnail makes it a straight 10/10 for me although the gameplay and the music was pretty great too.
People often underestimate the Tiger 1 so, so much. To this day, there's alot of people who refuse to play it the way it's meant to be and disregard its strong points for the Panther. Amazing side armor, barely penetratable turret, the equivalent explosive filler of an IS-2 shell all make this tank a force to be reckoned with if you go against it with the usual 76mm and 85mm cannons. It's one of the best defensive vehicles of its BR, which is fitting considering its role usually. The Tiger E variant is the actual best tho, so many notable advantages for just 0.3 BR increase.
"Amazing side armor" Sorry but you lost me right there. You know "side armor" is not just that thin strip of flat armor below turret which also still suks...

The only logical way is to wiggle that angle and good luck "angling" against threats that you do not see, which should be the only way you get killed by. Regardless of what tank you use, nothing you see or know where should be able to kill you.
A GOOD gun is what makes the tank, not the shtty armor on literally any tank in game. Tiger1's strenght lies in all other aspects but the armor and its gun is just mid tier @ 5.7 (Tiger E)
@@teleman07 my guy im talkin bout the upper side plate thats like 80 something mm or so idk that once u angle is usefull plus wiggling is also pretty useful and i think u saying its shit is u saying u have a skill issue, no tank is really shit is just always depend on the amount of skill issue the user has.
@@teleman07 that little strip is near improbable to hit above 300 meters. Most likely it glances of the bottom side plate and hit the tracks. You normally face t-34-85s which cannot reliably hit your weak spots if you angle and the distance is above 300 meters, which it usually is. In cities you still get decent turret traverse and speed so I don’t see your point here.

At 8:29, if you play it back at 0.25x speed, you can see that you jerked the barrel to the side. The shell bounced off of the turret of the wreck and hit the roof MG on the rebound.

Tiger 1 is a beast for its br .I liked it more than tiger 2 .For its br even if I use other nations like USA or USSR ,I still kinda fear tigers, as a smart German Players are dangerous but I rarely see them😅.If you aced or train crews to expert Tiger 1 has like 8.0,8.1 sec reload but depends on loader and commander skill too .But sadly most tiger players I see are dumb af and dont angle at all so easy kill for my Sherman tank 😂
Edit:I know ,every nation has dumb players but as a German main myself ,we German players are a special breed so if most of the team is braindead it dosent matter if you are really good like Michael Wittmann or Kurt Knipsel typr😅.We all can get one shotted
