One of the truest performances to the original Anderson version, which we have all come to love so much. Very well done!
this has to be one of my favorite Christmas songs of all time.
Oh my favorite music when i was 9 i tap dance to this song i love it always just the music even now i want to dance to it i am 68 now.
This sounds great!! They play really good.
Have to love Christmas!!
Leroy Anderson= Genius!
i want to play this so badly
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Wonderful!
Sounds just like Fiedler and the Pops, which is the highest possible praise with this number.
i was thinking the same thing they need to really shout out and be heard
Sleigh bell person can't count.Why is this not in stereo?Wonderful composition by Leroy Anderson. I listen to it all year.
i have played this with 3 groups
@swimmerB0B Those are called temple/woodblocks.
listen to the BOSTON POPS for BEST EVER RENDENTION!!!!!!!
@chrisg21225 The Boston Pops is one of the best pops orchestras in the world. Nobody holds a candle to them. I can't say the same about the Boston Symphony these days, though.
me gusta
Sleigh bells were off big time starting at around 2:30. And not just on decrescendos.
is it Charlotte in state of NC?
2:04 best part GO LOW BRASS
2:04 tuba should have been a lot louder. That is their time to shine, in all versions of this song I have seen/heard, the low brass is loudest there.
@gahlony42 its fun haha. i played it 4 years straight in high school
"arr. Leroy Anderson?" No, WRITTEN by Leroy Anderson. Band and vocal versions are arranged.
@cowboyzsuk81 stop im SO jealous!
BASSOON!!!
which makes the song, sorta
lol the conductor is like dancing
Hey what do you play?Oh, I play 2 planks of wood.
I'm sorry no offense this orchestra does indeed sound good, but they don't have nothing on the Boston Pops.
Pfffff that whinney was silly.
