There’s quite a few uneducated comments criticising me for ”smurfing” in this game. Let me clarify some things: All of the players in this game are ~D1 skill level (Top ~1% of EUW), some are smurfs and some are not. I played on this account instead of my Challenger account because 1) I wanted to give an educational commentary, which is impossible to do while maintaining perfect 1000LP-level concentration, and 2) because I did not want to wait 30 minutes in queue (D1 queue times are ~3 mins, 1000 LP is ~30 mins. There is a difference between smurfing in gold/plat games and playing on secondary (still higher elo than all of the critics) account. With love, xPetu

I love how Petu slowly destroys this Jax while the bot lane is just bait pinging each other vigorously
I like to think that Jax is sweating his ass off while Petu is casually playing and providing commentary on his gameplay

Petu is the ONLY league youtuber that I can watch completely without skipping anything or get bored of his content, gj petu!
The "challenger" moment for me this game is when Petu remembered Jax put a ward down behind him that he could run away to so he didnt waste e to engage.

Small note: you actually have around 10 seconds to ping a ward that shows on vision even if it disappeared.
Little trick for the ward pings if you miss it and it turns invisible, you still have around 8 seconds to ping it because the way it works is you have 10 seconds from when the ward is placed to ping it. You do need to have seen it being placed but you still have more time after it disappears
As an ADC main I don't like trying to learn top lane as it's always a full grown man with a mortgage, an ex-wife and two kids living up there against my uneducated self, but watching how calm and confident you are makes me want to take notes, watch more Shen content from you and then give it the ol' college try.
Dude there're are so many high elo youtubers, streamers, but I never see exiting and skilled plays like this. Everything is so smart. And that's why I started playing this game, for the macro, micro chess, but somehow I am lost in this deep hole of toxicity. You make me enjoy this game man. You are defly my fav league youtuber. I'm gonna be honest. I don't play Shen nor toplane, but man: I just enjoy these explanations on what to do and how to. It's really insightful! Love your content man!
For a non shen player I really enjoy your content! Makes me learn a ton more of other champions.
E start also makes it so you pulled jax into the wave at 1:25 and made him push it even more into you with his counterstrike
I love how many builds Shen can build into, this pre season I am loving the Heartsteel + Titanic Hydra combo.. Shen becomes a bruiser early game and then mid to late you just build into armor and MR and carry.
Really enjoy your content! Always fun to share it with friends and I always learn something new to add to the Shen arsenal. Some days I miss being able to heal with Shen Q but most days I really enjoy where he is at and watching your videos and hearing you have fun while also being great at the champ is great motivation for me to improve. Hey Petu, I'm a big fan! I just wanted to recommend a Jak'Sho + Sunfire + Anathema's game. Its a lot of fun because you just put the Anathema's on whatever enemy is doing the most damage to you and it's really hard for the enemy team to kill you.

you need 3 points in E for 1 point jax E to have same cd. Shen E is 18 / 16 / 14 / 12 / 10. Jax E is 14 / 12.5 / 11 / 9.5 / 8
But honestly Idk if it's even necessary. Sure in a long 1v1 all in, 4 seconds difference is big. But in normal lane trading players are looking for good time to go in, they don't just flash qwer on cd. So it might not matter.
