The Analogues perform 'Here Comes The Sun' by The Beatles during a live rendition of the album Abbey Road, performed at Abbey Road Studios, June 30, 2019.
No wonder Geoff Emerick initially thought The Analogues were singing along to The Beatles’ backing track - their music is totally accurate. And I say that as someone who has been listening constantly to The Beatles since 1963 (I’m now 67). Brilliant - The Analogues are far and away the best!!
What a performance, so good, It makes my heart melt knowing that I liked that song very much while George was performing this song. Thank you so much Analogues for this perfect rendition, and bringing back my memories.
Can’t get enough of this. Very well done. It is one the Beatles most requested songs over time, yes? This song confirms to me that there is something very spiritual in music.
Take note of the use of the Fender Bass VI and the Mini Moog. They could’ve taken the easy way out, and used any bass guitar and any synthesizer on this tune. But that shows you how serious they are about their craft: those are the exact models of the instruments to used on this track by the Beatles. This adds to the level of gravitas, humility, and respect that the Analogues provide in every Beatles recreation. Hats off from the United States. Well done, and good on you all.
@@BeatlesCentricUniverse Good grief; you are of course correct. Time to stop trying to watch these on my tiny phone - or at least get new glasses! I appreciate the correction!
Nope. Not the same synthesizer (other than the brand name). The Beatles used the first Moog synthesizer (a modular monster) and the Minimoog didn't even exist back then. Furthermore, The Analogues are using a Moog Voyager XL, a 2002 minimoog-inspired instrument but that definitely is NOT a Minimoog. It sounds different to an actual Minimoog and to a Moog modular synth (among other reasons, the Voyager sounds much less "beefy" due to its greater VCO and filter stability... and this happened because they added patch memories to the Voyager, what forced the design to be computer-driven while the original one used 100% discrete electronics). That said, they have nailed the original lead sound but this is not especially surprising; it is a classic bread-and-butter sound that can be perfectly emulated with virtually any analogue synth that has two or more VCO oscillators.
I am a massive Beatles fan. This is my favorite song and I am very critical of ANYONE touching it. This is the ONLY version I ever found that truly replicates the exact sound of the song. Fantastic work! I am in the US so I don't know if they will ever tour here, but i really wish I could watch them live.
Heel erg bedankt.
Greetings from Puerto Rico! Just beautifully executed. Tried buying one of your CD´s but the shipping was greater than the cost of the cd. (15 eur cd/20 eur S & H).😢
Kenne viele Cover Bands der Beatles Aber mit Abstand auch live in Arnheim...Topp einfach nicht zu toppen. Jede Note ist perfekt. Danke besser geht's nicht
Great performance, though the strumming pattern of the acoustic guitar on the original track is different and more complicated: ruclips.net/video/DkLmj4-t34U/видео.html
Besides the guitar and the use of autotune, this is 1 to 1 with the 1969 original. The autotune needs to be dialed back a lot though, songs like Rocky Raccoon were not benefiting from it
What a horrible audience... al 12 of them sound dead. How embarrassing for a wonderful performance that required a tremendous amount of work, attention to detail, practice, dedication and love. I'm sorry for the Analogues; the reaction must have hurt.
@@josefinaneri4196 no please dont misunderstand..yes they are ..absolutely ..man, I love them ...I was juat a bit disappointed as I thought there was a new song being premiered. Instead it's byte sized excerpts from the white album concert. If vourse its top-notch.

Ah, I hadn’t heard that. They are truly a remarkable band.
Smooth, simple, professional, passionate, Beatles revive... Thank you!

The best performance of this remarkable song I've heard on RUclips. George would be very pleased.
I'd go crazy if I was at their concerts!!!!!!

Agreed
And again: superb performance of one of the best songs of George Harrison.
Perfect recording, everything is top.
Tears of joy. I felt like I wanted to hold their hands as they played each note perfectly.
The best of George's masterpieces. And covered well by the Analogues.
What can you say other than perfection.
Una versión del tema de George muy cuidada, estudiada y con mucho respeto por la versión original...!!! Gran trabajo..!!! Felicitaciones...!!!!

I still think they are lip syncing. The camera moves a little to conveniently.
Is the drummer really playing live? Does not seem to…
I believe he is. It is hard to mime drums live , plus there’d be no reason for him to. He’s a pretty competent drummer.
I think maybe the percussionist is playing fills that you can hear that were probably originally on the drums and that's why it seems that way.
