So special to hear that guy talking about all the great memories of their house. As i get older i really appreciate those bygone times and places from my own past. Helps me to understand why people might buy some of the things they do. I really liked those albums of postcards. I've been experimenting with old vintage photographs so those caught my eye. Great vid, love the sales where you, or I, get to dig for treasures. Belly rubs to Daisy.
That was a Cinderella Story that young man told about his parents and the history of the house was remarkable! It is such a treat to hear of an old house and the people who have lived there.
Sensing his nervousness to be on camera in the beginning once he started talking about his childhood home. It’s like every good memory came flooding back in that second. And all that anxiety was gone and he was just in love sharing the history of his old home. I love estate sales one for uranium glass. But second and more importantly you can really learn a lot from others and meet very interesting folks with same or similar interests. Hell I’ve even learned about other peoples hobbies in convo. May not always be my cup of tea. But just to see the wheels turn anytime someone’s talks about their passion or hobby. Literally lights me up with glee.
Thank you Dominic. That was a great Treasure Hunt! I love the old houses you attend the Estate sales in. This was an old one, 1905, wow! You got great deals for the $90.00. Also Peter Capstick books about big game hunting in Africa. Hard covers with dust jackets sold 2 lots of 8 for 169.99 and 120.00.
