Behold once again, from the minds of Max Mutchnick and David Kohan, TV's wittiest ensemble ever. The legendary James Burrows, director of every original Will & Grace episode, has returned with a slew of razor-sharp jabs and dirty martinis. Will & Grace stands as NBC's most watched comedy in seven years. Originally debuting in 1998, Will & Grace has been nominated for 91 Emmy Awards, winning 18 of them, including Outstanding Comedy Series. The series has also earned seven SAG Awards and the show is one of the few in TV history where each member of the cast has won an Emmy.

With Roe v. Wade about to be overturned, that last part that Will said: "the minute we forget what we went through to get here, is the minute it could all be taken away," really hits differently now. The reason is because with this about to be overturned, our rights are now in jeopardy. Folks need to stop taking these rights for granted, continue to learn about the history and continue to fight for them and never take them for granted.

@@Daniel-jo4he not an absurd comparison at all. While you may not agree with an abortion, you do not have any rights to tell what a woman should or should not do with her own body. This shows your hypocrisy when it comes to liberties and freedoms, but it also speaks to your privilege as a man because there are no laws telling us what to do with our bodies. Check yourself first and as I tell folks out there, know your history first. Legal experts say this, the turning down of Roe v Wade will permit for other civil liberties to come under attack, such as same sex marriage, adoption, or even privacy laws that came into effect with Lawrence v Texas, that may be put to test.

I've met so many people like Ben's character. Clueless about the struggles we've gone through to secure the rights we have today. Unaware of the suffering and loss we've experienced as a community in order for today's gays to "walk around in skinny jeans with right you never even knew you never had". I'm only 40...technically a millennial. But I grew up in a small town with a conservative family and experienced most of the typical "coming out" traumas like being unwelcome in my home. Fortunately with time we've mended ties...and at least it wasn't far worse. But every time I talk to some 'kid' who has no appreciation for what came before him I end up in the same lecture/wonder years mentality that will portrays so well here.

Its really less of a generational thing as it is an intellectual one. Natural curiosity, when exercised properly, is the beginning of knowledge as it sparks interest and desire to know more. While I agree, theres a big difference in generational values; the reality is, the younger generations just arent taking people's word for anything. They're actually researching things and making INFORMED and CONSCIENTIOUS decisions for themselves instead of being told what to believe. From my nearly 42 year (gay male who came out in the 90's) perspective, its honestly beautiful to see!

Do you think its about hating younger ppl or about sending a clear message & maybe the delivery hurt a bit? I mean there's a different episode that tackles biphobia and the younger people are teaching will & grace. These are set characters so sometimes it can't be the same 4 ppl learning things from each other. Plus young ppl are people ie individuals. They cant all be the aware character.

You know, it wasn’t til I was maybe 19-20 when I finally admitted it to myself that I was gay. But I didn’t really have the whole “tragedy” or whatever about coming to terms with it. I just didn’t bother with romantic stuff cuz I didn’t see the point when I didn’t have a car or a job to make it happen. Plus I put school above everything else. But I still get why it’s a big deal to not forget things were rougher back then, and still are in some areas. Here’s one thing I hope those shitsticks on the Supreme Court remember: how Stonewall started

This is typical of this generation, I remember the A.I D. S. crisis, being mindful of sex, protesting discrimination, seeing the quilt. Now it’s “these are my pronouns,” and I want to add onto a rainbow flag that is the ultimate expression of a spectrum. It just seems it’s less about creating a diverse community and more about self interest. I want to be seen as unique, not see us as a community. Ok I know I’m ranting, but I miss my gay bookstore in my gay ghetto next to the community center. Cancel culture has canceled our culture.

@@bsquared4604 you missed the point. Yes fighting was hard but so were the friendships and sense of community that sprang forth because of it. Yes there was a fragility of life but it made living precious and celebratory. Remember how we all tuned in to Ellen’s coming out on tv, or how Will and Grace was watched. Yes, we have come far but now that we are assimilating those things that distinguished us are disappearing too. Yes, it was tough but it wasn’t all that bad either.

@@calvinbethea3369 I think That's what the establishment wanted, for us to slink back into our velvet lounges in shame and be quiet about it. They miss the days when we would pretend to be straight. Lie to women to get voter babies. But you are so right. That fight and real fear of AIDS. Gave us a strong community, and with that, community strength. And I loved those days. The LGTBQ 's don't understand how subtle those victories were. And fragile. Ben Platt and Beanie just represent how glib this new community is about our fight for their rights. Of course , all there dreams should come true. It's Bennie and Beanie. No self awareness.

This hasn't aged well. All Will's points are great but with the end of Roe v Wade heralding the loss of many other rights, Don't Say Gay, anti-trans bills, the banning of LGBT books... kids know what is going on. 5 years ago I guess it seemed that real LGBT equality was on the horizon but that was short lived. I don't really think younger people were ever as clueless as this scene made it seem.
