Sorry to hear you didn't vibe with the Poppy War but if you're looking to try more Kuang, then try Babel. It's what she wrote after the Poppy War trilogy and it feels more mature, more grown up fantasy. It's a stand alone and but if you enjoyed the history aspect of the Poppy War then I think you'd like Babel since a lot of it is based on history, racial inequalities, colonization, and how language shapes power. I'm a big Kuang fan and I think it's her best work.

I would look through their past packs and their single sheets on their website and see if you like them enough. You can always just buy a single past pack from them too!
