Hey Misha, idk if you will see this but I wanted to thank you about this piece of music. It has helped a lot through grad and overall studies and sometimes, just sometimes, it makes me sleep too :).
Misha, I don't know if you'll read this but this song is incredible. I struggle deeply with anxiety and panic attacks and this song really just grounded me and gave me a sense of place. Your music is inspiring and I beg you to not stop exploring these creative outlets.
@@G00N_DEPO I can't tell you how quick both these comments ironically made me tear. I thought I was alone in this feeling. Misha immediately puts me at ease. His ascension with creation has done good on all levels. This man has gotten me to cry after 10 years of isolation. He's gotten me to shine my creative "Bulb"😏 playing guitar again. Singing again. Drawing again and exploring the depths of creation my mind can take me. ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you for this comment for real. Thank you for sharing. Misha won't ever understand what his work does for ppl like us. And I'm glad you spoke on it. ❤️❤️
I felt throughout this piece that I was a baby being born into the world with all the feelings of uncertainty, panic, joy and comfort throughout. I don't know if anyone else interpreted it that way, but I like it.
Because of all the DMCA issues with Twitch right now, there needs to be a group of artists that get together and release a massive batch of music for free to help creators out. This should be one of those pieces. This is awesome. So chill, man.
Agree man, that’s what Herman Li and Dragonforce were planning on doing, right? Cause they even got DMCA’d from their own songs which they own the copyrights to
@@Kyle-hm7ee he’s not saying make all the music for free. Just some tracks that aren’t registered into royalty collection agencies made by musicians so you can use their music on stream without having issues arise, cool stuff like this tune, while we would still pay for their main releases, this would be like a free advertisement for the musician on small creator’s projects
This made me think of some screwed up times through my life but I eventually snapped out of it and really enjoyed it. Felt like a journey through time or life...
i love this so much. this is such great music to write/study to because i find myself getting distracted by the groove based/technical stuff i usually listen to when i'm trying to enter a flow state. this is perfect for that.
Love listening to this type of stuff, especially while writing, and also these ethereal, quiet parts are often some of my favorite parts in Periphery songs
So nice to see you do your own stuff like this still. Also please please please tell Jake to get back into making his solo stuff too. Isometric and Zu are seriously my favorite music ever and have helped me so much to still be here.
I respect the amount of effort and dedication that went into this. It's not my cup of tea, but definitely never stop exploring your sound. This seems like it was a really fun project for you!
This reminds me so much of the game Anachronox, it's a sci fi jrpg style game from around 2000, considering Misha is a FF fan I wouldn't be surprised if he knew about it, the soundtrack is on YT, I think the track "Sender Station" is the one that's most similar to this song
I’m happy you decided to actually released this is a track. It kind of bummed me out to have to go and find the live stream every time I wanted to listen to it and pass out! Much love 🤘🏻
This should be on the new PS5's home screen.
bruh 10/10
Agreed
Someone make it happen
Good old Cinema 4D. So many good times listening to Periphery while trying to learn how to make stuff at 3 am

I kinda want this on Spotify it sounds nice and it would be a nice end to my 14 hour long metal playlist

He should team up with Navene again.
I relate to this too. I have anxiety and depression, and I am also living in Ukraine. Lot of stress. This music is a chilling meditation experience.
if i had chilled any harder, i would have died.
thank you for this. it really helped me destress from a bad day

this is hauntingly beautiful and simple to listen too. My ADHD thanks you
Should an artist feel honored or insulted that their music puts people to sleep?
Compliment, cuz that means his music comforted an unsteady soul
i mean i’ve released an ambient record and i don’t mind if it puts people to sleep, i’ll take that as a compliment
I made this hoping people would relax, chill out, or sleep to it, so it's all good!
bruh your comment was mentioned in a loudwire article loudwire.com/periphery-misha-mansoor-90-minute-song-red-water/

I cleaned my whole damn house while listening to this
Damn right.

How much Adderall did you take?
I listen to this while studying!
MISHA YOU NEED TO DO A COLLAB WITH HAMMOCK AND SLOW MEADOW
Good. It's been a long time since I've heard a new "bulb" release. Great stuff.
bruh, Bulb volume 7 and 8 are out on spotify

Rumour has it, that NASA hired, Misha to make this track in order to communicate with the Aliens.

Thank you Misha. I've been having really bad panic attacks lately and this helped alot. The world needed this. You're a superhero dude, thanks.
Gotta listen to this before going to bed. Might induce lucidity.
Great for studying as well.
I have been grading exams to this. Certainly makes it all a little easier.
This track slaps so hard
I like it when the red water comes out

My favorite Hands Rimmerman track

Sobering sound
"There are eight planets in our solar system..."
"Pick Allstate insurance. Are you in good hands?"
*"Now you can sleep at night knowing you provided for your kids! Thanks to MUTUAL ONE!"*
"Does your loved one suffer from irritable bowel syndrome?"
"We take care of people like Misha"
*U..S..A..A!!!*
i was up until 4AM listening to this. felt relaxed but not sleepy. awesome stuff. 10/10 would listen to again.
I like how you auomated the master fine to go lower towards the end. Also, quite a strong Abandon Window vibe here. I dig it.
Yeah this screams Jon Hopkins with a bit of Hammock in there too. Amazing piece.
Truly uplifting
I just love this song man!!!
U should go for making hollywood soundtracks Misha!
Agree
He has said that if he gets the opportunity he will take it.
I hope. Misha is just great a composer. I have learned soo much from watching his and nollys videos. Simply awesome!
thank you
i started to clean my house while listening to this andnot only am i happy but my house is clean now lol
This helped me through my work day
IDK why but I got crazy Nier: Automata vibes the second I pressed play.
Quarantine really must have kicked misha in the ass or something cause I'm not sure if I've ever heard a 90 minute song before...
"Flood" by Boris gets close. It's separated into parts but there is no discernable break in the music and it is actually one song
Have you ever Farted before
Soothing AF right here. Great tune Misha.
This is the third time I have played this 1 hour song... I can't stop dude.
THIS IS PERFECT
Two years later: the world is still a little crazy.
this is like a warm place on repeat plus a thousand other things oh man I'm super in love with this thank you MEESH
Release this on vinyl. I'd buy it in an instant. I'd love to hear your take on "space" ambient.
Thanks for this moment of peace Misha.
Thank you for this gift
I'm in a spaceship, traveling through the cosmos ! This is what it feels like !
Perfect reading music.
Man i feel like this has some Final Fantasy 7 vibes for some reason. Sounds so gooood.
i can't stop to hearing.... really amazing...
Misha can do it all. This is my wind down song every night now.
Been drawing to this. Love it!
wow that is a really stressful piece. If there was ever a way to create anxiety in my soul this song is it.
I’m interested to understand how this induces stress?
@@NotcoolJames it's called sarcasm 💀💀
Thanks so much for this beautiful track, Misha.
made my night Misha thank you!
Thank you for this
Into the deep? Awesome!
Nice microtuning there. Gets progressively lower in reference pitch throughout the piece.
This is the type of music that makes me wanna empty my mind and be formless
I love it!
Thank you for this.
oh shit i didn't know this was posted on my birthday (ps thanks misha i needed something like this to mellow out to)
Any way to purchase this one, e.g. bandcamp?
