If you use a Rectangular Alpha Mask, you can accomplish the same thing but you'll be displaying a line at a time. The keyframe interpolation needs to be set to Discrete for this to work well.

nice, the build in typewriter just doesnt look good and its also hard to time it, so I will try this out, thanks!
