Miss ya 1980s. If you could see 2021 yesterday, you'd be appalled. The year's since have not been so kind to us. It's getting worse. Thank you for the memories and the best year's of my life. Born 1976 here, take care people.

Catherine McPherson's giant, gravity-defying mullet was a thing of legend. Loved that show, though it went downhill a bit after Frank Flash left.

I remember hearing that countdown and racing to finish making my bowl of cereal so I could plonk myself down in front of the TV in time for the start of the show... Ahhhh, Saturday mornings were the BEST!

Oh man, it doesn't seem like 30+ yrs ago already. I was born in 1980 and remember so many awesome shows we had then, even with only 2 channels pre-'89 it was good. And What Now, well they sure gave sweet prizes back then.... even the runner-up got something cool. What do they get now, a bottle of gunge.

I won a Bill Direen album from _What Now_ in about 1986. You had to name 10 song titles with animals in them. My list included _I Wanna be your Dog_ by the Stooges.

Thunder Cats, Dungeon and Dragons, Banana Man and Inspector Gadjet were my favourites on the show. Think there was one other cartoon I liked, can't remember the name of it though.
Oh and on Sunday mornings I think I woke up to watch Fragile Rock or the Muppet Show, maybe it was both?

Thanks to What Now that Matt Bianco song is still what I will often use to annoy and wake my partner up when she sleeps in but needs to get up for the day.

What Now was on TV ONE up until the end of 1989 and I should also point out was on Saturday morning until the mid 90s.
All Kids cartoons were on TV ONE until the start of 1987 and then weekday kids shows such as After School moved to TV2 in February 1987. Saturday and Sunday kids shows remained on TV ONE until the end of 1989 coinciding with the launch of TV3.

Ah must be before 1989 before it moved to TV2. This is evident from the One logo, as well as ThunderCats, which was still a kids craze at the time.
