    Great vid. My issue with the 1180 is no octave key on the neck. So all those alternate high note fingerings are harder to speak. I never tried to tosca but it sounds great!

    Tosca was my dream bass clarinet until the Backun bass was released.

    Very educational video . Do you really need that much a low C if you play in symphony or opera orchestra? How many pieces need actually the low C ? Btw I like the prestige the most😊

      Yes, absolutely! You can't really play that repertoire nowadays without using the low C models. All good orchestras would assume you'd have one.

      Look towards something like a bakun alpha or royal max for an 1180 alternative. Selmer privelidge, Bakun Q, Royal firebird, or Uebel emperior for a prestige or tosca alternative
