You said the AirPods 3 are the only ones to use skin detection but im pretty sure the beats fit pro use the same skin detection sensors that the AirPod 3 features. They don’t use the sensors the airpod pros have
Just got the BFP and although the case feels cheaper than the Apple offerings, they are the only buds that stay put through a workout while being comfy in my small, sensitive ears.
Having had all 3 earbuds, the beats fit pro are much better (for me). They’re literally AirPods Pro in terms of features, with beats signature sound and they fit more securely because of the wing tips. ANC is second to the pros and all three support spacial audio which I great. But for me, beats are the winner
Any pain. Ive had mine for 3 weeks, the pain has gotten better and i can go like 2 hours without any pain. But the at random times i get the pain again like only after 5 mins. I think i just beed to adjust the wing tips. I think the pain is caused by the sharp edge of the wing tip digging into my skin.
I find they are not as quick to respond while pairing, but other than that I agree. The sound for the beats is so much better. They are also more comfortable to wear for longer periods of time. I like both the AirPods Pro and the Beats, but if I have to pick earbuds just based on sound, it would be the Beats for sure 🙂
Disagree I think the beats buds sound just a little bit better then the pros I also think the noise canceling is a little bit better too it might be because of the fit for me the beats fit me like a glove I sold my pro’s because to me they are the winner I also have the Bose quite comfort buds and air pod max

I have only used the Air Pods Pro but I’ve seen lots of reviews and everyone seems to agree that Beats has better sound. You can adjust the EQ in Accessibility but for the price difference and better sound you can’t beat the Beats Fit Pro. The AirPods Pro do wobble a bit with the stems, but the microphones are closer to your mouth so naturally they are better for phone calls. I’m just getting used to mine but what I just realized is that Bluetooth 5.0 has a range of 240 metres (800 feet) so if you work from home, or take virtual classes use it on a conference call and walk away from your device. There will be no issues unless there’s interference, don’t stand too close to the microwave when it’s running. I can’t think of a better feature, some of us used Bluetooth since the late 90’s when the distance was only 3-feet. It’s totally different now you can probably walk around the block without your iPhone with no issues. Overall I would say Beats Fit Pro are just as good as AirPods Pro and a heck of a lot cheaper. Did I mention that the Beats have 6-hours of listening time compared to AirPods Pros 4.5? That’s a game changer, better battery life and better sound quality.
You forgot to add that the Airpods 3 is the only earbuds in the collection with a certified water resistant rating for the case unlike the others where the water resistance is only limited to the earbuds

I’m not a huge fan of silicone inserts because I hear all my internal body sounds and loud bass pulses as I walk/run. I haven’t tried any of these. Would I have that issue?
When I buy wireless earbuds, the most important thing is the charging case and how it looks. Not audio quality, pairing, or if you can even use the earbuds with 3party stuff like Bluetooth audio from a TV. (how do you change the volume with AirPods connected to anything 3 parties?)
One year later… I just picked up the beats fit pro over the AirPods Pro 2 for a couple reasons, price was one, second I wanted black, third the wings hold them in my ear leaps and bounds better than the stems in the pros. Great video

I am finally going to test if the new Airpods 3 can replace (for travel) my House of Marley Positive Vibration 2 wireless on-ear headphones, which I love but need something more portable. I am also going to get the Beats Fit Pro in black when they finally are released in Australia in 2022, to compare them against the Airpods 3. Airpods really need to come in black but then I guess that is why they have Beats!
Good review. just bought Beats Fit Pro, immediately disappointed with them cause of stuff you mentioned: cheap case, feels like that lid is going to break within weeks. You don't mention ear fit: i've got small ears, and even with smallest silicon cone, the total volume of the device is a bit too big for me and sticks out from my ear quite a bit more than gen 1 AirPods did, meaning that even though they have no stem, it is so easy to knock them out by brushing past my ear. Having now tried both types, I think i'd prefer the gen 3 AirPods with the shorter stem, because that stem on gen1 helped them sit snugly in my ear, and there were no sticky-out bits to catch on anything apart from the stem. Being a shorter stem on gen3 makes accidental knock-outs from upwards motions even less likely than gen 1. You didn't mention the volume (size) of the main part of the device between AirPods gen1-3 and AirPods Pro: It seems like the volume of the AirPod gen 1&2 is smaller than gen 3. Is that the case? What is the volume like compared to AirPods Pro, and how snug is the stem against the ear with the silicone cone on the Pros vs without silicone on the gen 3's? People with larger ears might not notice much difference, but would be interesting to get an opinion from another small eared person :)

The air pods pro sounds better through the mic. The beats fit pro sounds tinny. I’m really not a fan of how they make me sound.. better than my $40 firacore ear buds.. not by much. It was the deal breaker for me
My take is that Apple had to straddle the line between putting out a compelling product for the Android users while not potentially cannibalizing the AirPod line when it comes to the Beats. That puts Beats in a weird space.

I personally would buy the 3s cuz, the silicone tips make my ears feel weird and I personally dont mind the open fit cuz i dont wanna get knocked down when i am on the road, personally speaking.

I decided to give your review another trial. But unfortunately you haven’t changed. Always biased. The beats definitely sound better than the AirPods pro. How do you listen to these buds?
For me personally I would purchase the Beats Fit Pro because of the built in eye hooks. Have always added third party ear hooks to the Apple wired EarPods. Would purchase AirPods if they had ear hooks, or could add third party ear hooks, and they would fit in the case so they charged. For now for wireless I use Beats Flex for my long walks around the neighborhood as it has a "Flex-Form cable" that goes around my neck in case one of the bones falls out of my ear. Use have have this issue when I would be out on my walks of the Apple EarPods falling out all the time until I added third party ear hooks. Would still use wired except would always hit the cable with my arm at least twice every walk so I went wireless. Old so the hearing is not as good as it used to be. Too many loud concerts, and playing my music real load in my youth. Thing that surprised me about my Beats Flex they do not have enough bass for me.
I’ve had all three and I wish the beats fit pro fit better. The wingtip just digs into my ears to the point that they hurt the next day still. They sound really good for what they are but the core Apple products (AirPods) feel more premium.
I like my beats fit pros so much better then the AirPods and AirPods Pro’s. They don’t stick out my your ear like the AirPods so you don’t look kind of silly. They fit great in my ears, the sound is amazing with spatial audio, and the 3 different modes noise canceling, transparency and off. The head tracking with special audio is great as well. I really like the ear detection feature. I like that all the features work with a large number of 3rd party apps. I love being able to puse something just by taking one of the buds out of my ear. I also like that you can get them in different colors unlike the AirPods where your stuck with white. I love how well those switch between my devices so seamlessly too at least my apple devices but most of my devices are apple anyway. The only thing I think apple/beats missed out on is adding 4 taps to change volume up and down so that you don’t have to chose having the long tap change listening mode or volume. You can have both features this way. It could be a software update idea. I use my Apple Watch a lot to raise or lower the volume but having it on the beat fit pro buds would be nice because I also like it change listening mode sometimes depending on what’s going on around me like if someone at work wants to talk to me I can change to transparency.

I don't really feel like this was a non-biased comparison. While the case on the AirPods premium does feel more premium, that does not matter to a lot of people. When I look for earbuds, I look for what sounds the best, and what fits the best. I own both the AirPod Pros and the Beats. When it comes to listening to music, I'm going to reach for my beats. When I'm working (moving around a lot), those will always be the ones I pick. My AirPod pros always fall out. They both sound great. It is ok to say that a "second tier" Apple Product sounds better. When I'm looking for a fair review, I want to know both the pros and cons for each product. This was incredibly biased.
The mic quality sounds really really tinny ( like a tin can ) to me. Bothers me alot. My girls air pod pro sounds almost exactly like the mic in the phone.
What about Beats Studio Buds? I have a friend who has those and the Pros and prefers the Beats-but not comparing better sound which that and noise cancellation are my 2 main objectives. There are other things she likes about them-but anybody compare them to the Fit Pros and Airpod 3s for instance?

I bought the AirPods Pro a few weeks ago for $128.00. I had second thoughts as soon as I pressed the buy button. I even got an email from PayPal instructing me how to file a complaint about the order. However, they are new, not refurbished, and they sound great.

Exactly this. I have seen probably a dozen comparisons between the Beats Fit Pro and the AirPods Pro and this is the only video claiming to have better audio quality. Every other video not only says the audio is better but the ANC is better also.

The AirPods Pro definitely do not sound better than the Beat Fit Pro, I bought both and the Fit Pros are on another level. If you listen you a lot acoustic music the AirPods Pro could be for you, but any kind of dance music, EDM, Hip Hop, RnB even Rock and Classic Rock, the Beat Fit Pros make the kick drums hit hard while taming those overly bright high frequencies.

Dude... can you please pay attention to your mic-placement? It totally sounds like it's been recorded in a kitchen by a noob and I don't really think this description fits you very well. This happens because your mic is closer to the table than to your mouth so it creates phase issues that almost make this video unlistenable to me in some parts. Biased review beats fit pro has find my also and ear detection, fit pro has more battery life, the fit, has the same chip inside and costs less its a no brainer 90% of reviewers of both beats and apple settle on the same decision.

I really like the ear detection feature. I like that all the features work with a large number of 3rd party apps. I love being able to puse something just by taking one of the buds out of my ear. I also like that you can get them in different colors unlike the AirPods where your stuck with white. I love how well those switch between my devices so seamlessly too at least my apple devices but most of my devices are apple anyway. The only thing I think apple/beats missed out on is adding 4 taps to change volume up and down so that you don’t have to chose having the long tap change listening mode or volume. You can have both features this way. It could be a software update idea. I use my Apple Watch a lot to raise or lower the volume but having it on the beat fit pro buds would be nice because I also like it change listening mode sometimes depending on what’s going on around me like if someone at work wants to talk to me I can change to transparency.

I don't really feel like this was a non-biased comparison. While the case on the AirPods premium does feel more premium, that does not matter to a lot of people. When I look for earbuds, I look for what sounds the best, and what fits the best. I own both the AirPod Pros and the Beats. When it comes to listening to music, I'm going to reach for my beats. When I'm working (moving around a lot), those will always be the ones I pick. My AirPod pros always fall out. They both sound great. It is ok to say that a "second tier" Apple Product sounds better. When I'm looking for a fair review, I want to know both the pros and cons for each product. This was incredibly biased.

The mic quality sounds really really tinny ( like a tin can ) to me. Bothers me alot. My girls air pod pro sounds almost exactly like the mic in the phone.

What about Beats Studio Buds? I have a friend who has those and the Pros and prefers the Beats-but not comparing better sound which that and noise cancellation are my 2 main objectives. There are other things she likes about them-but anybody compare them to the Fit Pros and Airpod 3s for instance?

I bought the AirPods Pro a few weeks ago for $128.00. I had second thoughts as soon as I pressed the buy button. I even got an email from PayPal instructing me how to file a complaint about the order. However, they are new, not refurbished, and they sound great.

@@MagicMikeBilliards the absolute best earbuds for any Apple products are the Beats Fit Pro. I own those and the airpod pros and the Beats outperform them in almost every way except transparency mode and they are basically neck and neck.

Exactly this. I have seen probably a dozen comparisons between the Beats Fit Pro and the AirPods Pro and this is the only video claiming to have better audio quality. Every other video not only says the audio is better but the ANC is better also.

Another rating factor should have been how well or poorly they stay in your ears. My AirPods Pro keep trying to attempt suicide at the most inopportune times, like public bathrooms, dog runs, etc.
I’m with Andrew: make mine AirPods Pro! I’ll likely get the Fit Pros too, but my love remains with AirPods…and by extension the Pros.
just saying "airpods pro sound better" isn't fair. everyone has different tastes in music and they sound really similar, its just that the beats have better bass that the AirPods.

The AirPods Pro definitely do not sound better than the Beat Fit Pro, I bought both and the Fit Pros are on another level. If you listen you a lot acoustic music the AirPods Pro could be for you, but any kind of dance music, EDM, Hip Hop, RnB even Rock and Classic Rock, the Beat Fit Pros make the kick drums hit hard while taming those overly bright high frequencies.

Biased review beats fit pro has find my also and ear detection, fit pro has more battery life, the fit, has the same chip inside and costs less its a no brainer 90% of reviewers of both beats and apple settle on the same decision.
