Maggie Moo YEAS! It would have totally added to the atmosphere and made it 20 times more intense. I still love the original though. pretty much everything about this movie is awesome.
I'm not the only one repeatedly listening to this over and over, right? Can't be alone! It's great, everything about it. The beat, vocals, whatever else is in the song, tired sorry.
I'd like to remind people who may not know, Lock, Shock, and Barrel AREN'T malicious by choice. They're also not really loyal to Oggie Boogie, but appease him out of fear. They aren't necessarily evil characters, just a trio of kids trying to stay on Oogie's good side so he doesn't kill them. The residents of Halloween Town have a policy that forbids harming humans, but Oogie wasn't originally a Halloween Town resident, and is genuinely evil, taking pleasure in making others suffer. Lock, Shock, and Barrel are basically in too deep with Oogie Boogie, and appease him because they're afraid for their lives
Ginger Chops mostly games but I somewhat disagree with what was said because in one game lock, shock, and barrel resurrect Oogie boogie after he was killed
@oscar the supreme maybe it was some sort of agricultural holiday meant to appease bugs that would otherwise infest their crops and their methods of appeasement were so unfortunate that they quickly ended and forgot about the holiday?
korn makes lock, shock and barrel (I think I got them right) all crazy. one is a crafty type of crazy, one is a blind-massacre type crazy, and one just traditional crazy
i was walking around school sing this while listening to my Ipod and my friend goes up to and is all like "dude everyone thinks your crazy now" And I replied "and chop him into bits" and after that it took a while to convince them I was not a pagan cultist.
+Chloe Vasquez this song is from TNBC like the this is halloween , but they did a remake of this song , not an original one created by them , its still great though , basically both songs are awesome .....
Reminds me of when me and my two brothers dressed up these three pieces of shit for Halloween and ran around with this song on repeat on a speaker... Good times :3
*Holy shit. . . BRUUUUUUUH! This is fucking fantastic! This was my favorite song out of the whole movie and I love Korn! Fuse it together and you get this. Goddamn I love this. I have it on my iPod. XD
This is so reminds me of the olden days of Korn. LIke the era of their first 3 albums. I haven't liked the albums after. Individual songs yes, but not whole albums. But this is friggin awesome! I could not foresee ANYONE doing a better version of this song. Other than the original song. And it keeps with the tone, and light hearted yet dark version of the original. I love it.
Imagine a group of kids actually kidnaping a sandie clause While a man in a green jumper bag or whatever starts signing to him whilst the Santa is tied up.
HELL yes. This is right up there with Sally's Song for my faves on Nightmare Revisited. So sinister and dark... just the perfect mood :D LOVED when it hit around 2:00-2:30, sick stuff there >D
Bloody hell, this is so epic! Looks like KoRn were the only ones (or one of the few, anyway) who REALLY understood their song...this sounds so perfectly EEEEEEEVIIIILLLL!!
I just bought this on itunes. It is INCREDIBLE! THE WHOLE ALBUM IS! (Well I haven't listened to every song yet). The fact that Rodrigo y Gabriella are on there just makes me so happy!
Walking down the street where I lived pissed singing this for halloween and must have been about 20 stranger's singing along with me you just have to love this song
"I say that we take a cannon Aim it at his door and then Knock three times and when he answers Sandy Claws will be no more" LMAO.yeah Jack sent the wrong ones to pick up Santa.
You never notice how morbid this song is until Korn sings it 😂
I thought the same thing when I first heard it XD
Meg Conn lol Jhon Davis could make going out for groceries sounds morbid.
True, but I like how it also sounds sinister and sadistic. You don't quite get that from the original version.
Right?!
Huh, your kinda right.
only Jonathan Davis could play three people at the same time with different vioces and is still completely crazy
I actually thought he was actually crazy at one point. Then, I had the absolute pleasure of meeting him.
This is fucking epic! It's like their all one person with multiple personalities. It's perfect for this song and Korn was the perfect choise.
Alyssa V wish they would have used this in the actual movie instead of a cover
Maggie Moo YEAS! It would have totally added to the atmosphere and made it 20 times more intense. I still love the original though. pretty much everything about this movie is awesome.
its probably for the younger viewers
you can watch the movie muted and play the song over it
Maggie Moo That's actually not a bad Idea
I'm not the only one repeatedly listening to this over and over, right? Can't be alone! It's great, everything about it. The beat, vocals, whatever else is in the song, tired sorry.
and my uncle told me korn don't make good covers I know he's very wrong
me too
Sounds like jon is having quite the psychotic argument
Johnathan Davis is really good at arguing with himself.
Damn, this song makes you want to punch a mall santa in the face!
For real.
😂😂😂
🤣👍
I seriously want to do that either way fuck christmas
That's so mean but I laughed so hard lmao
Best song in the album, hands down. Closely followed by jacks lament
I think that this is halloween is better. Mainly because they scream way too much at the end of this
wood elf Well yeah. They're KoRn. I love music that makes me half deaf
This is Halloween is the shit.
The version of Jack's lament makes me stabby. The singers voice annoys me.
I love how chaotic Korn makes this song
I have never heard Korn before this. Now I like Korn.
there good arnt they
you aren't good at spelling or using proper grammar
+edwinc2003 *They're good, aren't they?
I don't like Korn, but this version is really awesome
I was never really a fan of Korn. I'm still not, even after hearing this. But I do like a couple of their songs. Namely this one, and Evolution.
i like how well they emphasize "stick"
KalligTheGray isnt everybody in halloween land already dead? Or undead?
How do you know all this background?
Ginger Chops mostly games but I somewhat disagree with what was said because in one game lock, shock, and barrel resurrect Oogie boogie after he was killed
KalligTheGray there the rebalancing act. If it was d&d they would chaotic Neutral
@oscar the supreme maybe it was some sort of agricultural holiday meant to appease bugs that would otherwise infest their crops and their methods of appeasement were so unfortunate that they quickly ended and forgot about the holiday?
Who knew there were so many ways to kidnap the sandy claws
Korn just perfectly captures the malicious intent of the kids from the film. Perfect choice.
I think this better than the original. In it's own rock way
It is up until the end.
I love it, and the fact that they clearly had fun with it makes it even better. x3 They're not just singing the song, they're playing it.
korn makes lock, shock and barrel (I think I got them right) all crazy. one is a crafty type of crazy, one is a blind-massacre type crazy, and one just traditional crazy
Just like I made three new arrivals to the asylum in my script...
Yep you got their names right
I loved this movie when I was a kid still do but you don't notice how sinister this song really is until Korn sings it lol
Lol it said "SHUT UP!" right after my friend said "this sounds wierd"
Noice
Haha!
Cute photo!
Shut up when I'm talking to you! Oh wait, that's Linkin Park.
@@manictiger LMAO
This song is life.... two of my favorite things in one, KoRn and Tim Burton!!
I never noticed how evil this song was!
neither did santa
This is my favorite song out of all of the ones in this album! I'm so glad I get to see them in concert next month XD
i was walking around school sing this while listening to my Ipod and my friend goes up to and is all like "dude everyone thinks your crazy now"
And I replied "and chop him into bits" and after that it took a while to convince them I was not a pagan cultist.
You should have acted like you were one because then no one would bully you.
Wow...for once Disney has actually done something cool for an older audience....
You need to get out more if you think this is the first time. lol
I freaking LOVE THIS SONG!!! I love the whole album really, but this one and Jack's Lament are my favorites!!!!
This song genuinely slaps
this is my favorite song off this album and i'm not the big of a korn fan. I think this perfectly represents their personalities.
I LOVE THIS IS SO MUCH. it competes with Marylin Manson's This is Halloween
+Chloe Vasquez this song is from TNBC like the this is halloween , but they did a remake of this song , not an original one created by them , its still great though , basically both songs are awesome .....
+Χάρης & Μπάμπης Gaming lol I know ivmeant it competes with Maryln Manson's version for my favorite
Chloe Vasquez Oh XD , i though this at the first place but just incase i commented and yes both are great for sure!!
This is even. Better after hearing that sparklehorse shit
I love this album because I can listen to it for Halloween and Christmas!
This song is so demented. I freaking love it.
This is one of my favorites from the album, tied with Sally's Song (by Amy Lee). :)
one of the best cds ever!!! Love all of the covers of the songs!
Reminds me of when me and my two brothers dressed up these three pieces of shit for Halloween and ran around with this song on repeat on a speaker...
Good times :3
That sounds like so much fun
I like your brothers.
My GOD, this is such a good cover. I especially love the trademark slap bass sound that Korn brings. :)
I'm happy with this.
korn literally just makes this 100% more gory sounding
Korn gives me life.
Chloe calm yourself.
*stumbles upon comments* ಠ_ಠಠ__ಠಠ___ಠ wtf
*stumbles upon comments* ಠ_ಠಠ__ಠಠ___ಠ wtf
im so glad they used such good bands for this CD
*Holy shit. . . BRUUUUUUUH! This is fucking fantastic! This was my favorite song out of the whole movie and I love Korn! Fuse it together and you get this. Goddamn I love this. I have it on my iPod. XD
I can only hear this song, in this way when I watch the movie now. Love it!
My friend's mom used to be friends with the guys from Korn
The Dreamer Over There my friends mom used to be friends with satan
I love this. It feels like one man with 3 personalities is singing this.
I love it.
He made the original child-ish voice of Lock, Shock, and Barrel's into hard metal-ish rock voice, now this song is OMG addicting!!
This was always my favourite song from the movie and I honestly just love it more
I am SOOO glad someone FINALLY made epic awsome versions of the NBC songs!!! =D
normally not into this kind of music, but Korn does a really good job with this song
Scott Mc clean Definitely agree. :)
I enjoyed Korn calling themselves, "His little henchman". :D
This is one of the BEST songs to ever be created.
Only Korn could make "lalalalala" sound badass.
I come back to these because I used to listen to these as a kid 😂 this one is my favorite
After "Jack's Obsession", this came as a beautiful miracle. Coolness!
Awesome. Absolutely awesome. This gets stuck in my head so much!!!
this song rocks. i love how the make there voices kinda demonic. its awesome! i love it when its like SHUT UP! lol
Imagine a group of kids actually kidnaping a sandie clause
While a man in a green jumper bag or whatever starts signing to him whilst the Santa is tied up.
Does anyone else think that this song makes him sound like he has multiple personalities?
This song is one of the best on the CD!
Right next to Sally's Song that Amy Lee did.
I LOVE THEM BOTH!!!
KORN RULZ!!!
Favorite remake of this song. #thenightmarebeforechristmas
OH MY GOODNESS GUISE! I HAD THE MOST EPIC IDEA!
We have to have a remake of this movie, in real life, with real people on video, WITH THESE SONGS.
OMG I luv all the covers. Especially this one and the one by flyleaf
The one by Manson Is also Really Good
Shai Haag ikr
one of the few great covers on this album!!
I love it when it's a rock cover!!! :3 It's freakin' AWESOME
You'd love this guy called Jonathan Young
AMAZING COVER!!! THANK YOU KORN, FOR BRINGING US THIS!!!!!
everyone take a moment to realize this is a disney movie xD
It's finally that time of year again, everyone
This song is so violent XD BEST SONG EVER
HELL yes. This is right up there with Sally's Song for my faves on Nightmare Revisited. So sinister and dark... just the perfect mood :D
LOVED when it hit around 2:00-2:30, sick stuff there >D
Make the kids headbang!
Bloody hell, this is so epic! Looks like KoRn were the only ones (or one of the few, anyway) who REALLY understood their song...this sounds so perfectly EEEEEEEVIIIILLLL!!
This is brilliant.
Vled Tapas yup it is
I just bought this on itunes. It is INCREDIBLE! THE WHOLE ALBUM IS! (Well I haven't listened to every song yet). The fact that Rodrigo y Gabriella are on there just makes me so happy!
i love this version. korn totally dominates it. perfect song for them.
This song is so beautifully dark and I love it. 😍
This song sounds like a bad case of MPD. I love korn does a good job.
I love this version!! It's amazing!! I LOVE Korn!!
KORN IS FUCKING GREAT
-13 year old white girl (aka me)

Great film, great band ever!!!
This makes me want to kidnap Mr SantiClaws

"I say that we take a cannon
Aim it at his door and then
Knock three times and when he answers
Sandy Claws will be no more"
LMAO.yeah Jack sent the wrong ones to pick up Santa.
My fave on the Nightmare Revisited album
i literaly know the all of the words to all of these songs. is that weird? XD
No. That's how it should be XD

C'est littéralement mon préféré *-* ! KoRn
I love this so much! This CD is so great!
they are prefect for this part!
I LOVE IT!
I have fond memories of jamming to this as I played Tony Hawk's Underground 2 on xbox
OMG this is pretty good!! I was highly pleased with this cover.
best cover ever, jonathan sounds so whimsical, perfect for this.
jonathan davis did a kickass job on this with his cool unique voice. i'm still amezed how awesome this is
they did this song very well. awesome!
If you listen to the "What's this?" song, you can hear Jack singing about how they're not killing each other and throwing their heads about.
Not sure why, but when I listen to this, it makes me think of Gollum having a conversation with himself.
Yes love LOTR and Korn 🤟🏼🥁🎸🖤
Holy crap.
They chose the perfect group to cover this song.
omg!! amazing, it sounds like a perfect mix of korn and nightmare before christmas!!
LMAO! I love when he screams shut up >:) Shock Lock and barrel are my favourite little trick-or-treaters. Great cover.
I could listen to this song for three days straight and i think i will.
When I have kids, I'll sing this to them on Christmas eve
His voice saying "la la la" in the beginning has something so unsettling about it, like it's out of a horror movie where the villain traps someone
