For those who don't know, Nature Spirits or NSp is the largest of the digimon families. It contains a lot of digimon, it's the most basic of the families too
Fun fact: Nature Spirits is one of Digimon’s fields (along with Nightmare Soldiers, Virus Busters, and Deep Savers, to name a few). They are heavily linked to the Pendulum series of v-pets, like the recent Pendulum Color devices. Tlalocmon actually debuted on that device as a DNA digivolution of 2 of any of these megas: SaberLeomon, MetalEtemon, and Eldradimon. Every Digimon in the archetype appears on that device. The one glaring omission from the device’s roster is Tentomon’s line. Actually, Tentomon, MegaKabuterimon, and HerculesKabuterimon all debuted on the original NSp pendulum. Makes sense that we would get that line in EX08 as additional support.
Despite all the wild colors, there is merit to running the black mem setter izzy. helps stacks your top 3 cards and allows you to see ahead of time how you can do your plays for Eldradimon and being able to steal back a memory with the black cards you run anyways, feels like such a power move
really hope that the support its getting in EX8 will give it at least a little more power. Thankfully we're getting a LV6 Green digimon so we wont have to DNA with an ACE
I really like SaberLeo for just being a solid ACE, but Tlalocmon I feel can have good potential just there needs to be more NsP trait Digimon to really make it worth using. Also Tlaloc looks like something out of Shaman King and I really like that.
The thing is in the Nsp deck you don't want to be using Saberleomon as an ACE; you want to hit Saberleomon off Eldoradimon. If you're using him as an ACE you need to build another stack while keeping Saberleomon alive [who has no protection and is a big target due to the overflow] to get to your lv7. I'm not sure if you're familiar with the terminology; but Saberleomon ACE is a garnet; a card you don't want to draw.
Also, expect every deck based on digimon families to be multicolor. Nightmare Soldiers or NSo is all mostly virus type digimon and those who show up during Halloween. It would mostly be purple but we did get a pure black card for it.
@pn2294 Garurumon is a wolf. Meramon is a fire elemental, which fits the whole vibe of NSo. Apemon, im not so sure why. Maybe it has to do with its inspiration or maybe they just wanted to add diversity to the roster
Tlalocmon and both of the Level 6s are good, but the rest of the Nature Spirits are just random stuff that kinda do their own thing instead of actually doing something for their own deck
The deck isn’t bad. It’s just rather undercooked. But wow, Ex8 space is going to be tight. Side note, early on in the TCG, I hoped that the Tinkermon and Petermon engine would catch on… it didn’t. Pixiemon reminds me of those times as it can play Petermon,
Hold up tlocmon is a board wipe based on the amount of digimons on board so why not tech it in either chessmon, digi police or numemon as a top end that can be used to control the board. They have the colors to run it and DNA so it’s interesting to see if it works outside of the deck
I was so excited to see Tlalocmon and the NSp field added to the game, but I was so disappointed when I gave a try to the deck. Not sure if the new Metaletemon will give it a boost but definetely this deck needs a lot of support.
Nsp is best described as a packfiller archetype. It's a bunch of packfiller thrown together with a trait to make it work together. Albeit "work together" is if you manage to hit the gamble.
I think the biggest issue with the nature spirits is that none of the cards work to better their own archetype. All of the cards aside from the top end eldradi and tlaloc are more than decent in other decks or are pretty much useless. I am currently running a black base nature spirit deck and its leagues better than base nature spirits. Probably because im not worried about digivolving on NSP or trying to run multiple colors' gimmicks out of one deck. The deck just blocks, and thanks to how good the nsp cards are on their own you get some pretty big value.
Bit of an Update for anyone who is interested in NSP the new support in the upcoming EX set Makes this deck have a very strong Win con. The new tentomon line along with the NSP field spell will make this deck very aggressive with their builds!
I saw this Tlalocmon-Card and just fall in love and want to build a deck around it, but I am new to the game so I hope this vid maybe can help me a bit ;D
Personally I might invest in AAs for the deck just based on the significance of family groups to Digimon lore. I can see this deck continue to get support and its only a matter of time till its broken (look at Numemon)
I think Bandai will drop support soon, almost all decks have their cards split in two of more boxes and rainbow decks usually have their dedicated searcher
Nsp has to get to get future support, The fact they only gave us two level threes makes me think they will eventually release a new level three with an on play search for NSP
also i cant wait ex8 since we gonna see deep savers and nightmare soldier, hoping we see wind guardian and metal empire in the future~ man i love metal empire and we see random venomvandemon 🤣 my theories metal empire theme we will get mugendramon ace and while wind guardian we will get pinochimon ace~ we on path dark master getting ace~
bandai notice it the deck is mediocre, thats why in ex8 they gonna give more support for nature spirit like herculeskabuterimon in ex8 box promo art , i think should nature spirit getting option like memory boost exclusive to them though?

DS also mostly marine digimon so mainly blue got a black card

Yeah this deck needs a tamer like ST14 Ai and Mako to rig the top of the deck during an Eldradimon evo

It can help, especially if you run something like BT5 Takumi Aiba as you'd have a guaranteed way of using it!
