- Welcome to the grass roots level of the development story of our newest product Redshift 6! We thought you'd be interested to see a more detailed look inside the process. We try to keep it raw and honest. We'll try to make these once in a while.
In this episode, Timo tells us a bit of the history how the first working prototype came about. You'll also see where and how we work. We'll cover a bit of the next steps too.
The Supercritical Redshift 6 will be available in summer 2024 with an MSRP of 1259€
Preorders open now at supercriticals...
Keeping an eye on this one. Great to get a peek behind the scenes. I actually like the industrial black look 😎
I'm blown away just from what I just saw. My God what will it be like when it's finished. It's gonna be a monster.
Can't wait to see the finished product. Hats off to the Theoretical Physicist.
👍🙏 Fascinating, thank you for such a detailed and thoughtful video. It will be exciting to see and hear the production model... then buy one! 🤞🤞🤞
I'm very interested in this synth. Not yet ready to pre-order; but I love what you seem to be aiming at. While I like VCOs generally, the DCO makes perfect sense in this case, with detailed control allowing for variety rathe rather than precision only. However this synth turns out - and I hope it is great! - I'm glad that you are all pushing the form and experimenting.
Ah, nice to see the environment that things get created in
Can’t wait 😇☺️ I kept my bonus from work back and wait for more details and sounds of course.
GREAT !! I love the behind the scenes… and wish you guys all the best.. Hannes- please make a long version of the demo song. :)
Thanks for the tour, looks awesome!
Always interesting to see behind the curtain 👍
Yan's studio looks amazing, nice gear choice
Super excited and can’t wait for the release date, until then my preorder is in limbo

Super interesting! Is just the test harness in Rust, or the firmware as well?
Interesting background, thanks. Will there be a rackmount kit for this module?
Will this be available in keytar version, left handed because Jimi.
So what are you aiming for?
I think they making a synthesizer
aargh why do I have to be poor
What's the difference between "off-the-shelf" and non-"off-the-shelf" components? Do you mean the case, buttons, and knobs? I've always wondered how you get those things custom made?
