One million embedded scallop shells!!! What a glorious concept. Could anybody else other than the Japnese have done this? I doubt it. Just spectacular. 🙂🙂❤️❤️💯💯

I haven't watched all of it yet, but I will. I realize it is on formerly baren land , so I don't want to quibble, but it seems unnecessarily deluded and dominated in some areas by concrete. I suppose it will be very different after 20 years.

The garden is not appealing to myself. The traditional Japanese garden is stunningly simple.

The concrete architecture completely dominates what little planting there is. What a frighteningly unnatural place. Just awful.
