In the post-win G8 interview, Leo mentioned Glutto stayed with him during the recent Mexican invitational. Playing with a smash god in his home without the stress of a tournament setting was probably such an amazing learning opportunity
It's not about the stress it's just about playing. As he explained on French stream after final, the biggest improvement he's made these months is that he started playing with people from the American scene, which is better (he's uncontested n°1 in Europe). So he trained against better players (staying at Leo's might be enough :D ), he trained the matchups that he doesn't have in Europe, to know what he can do, what he can't. He also said before, Wario is all about the matchup, you can't really follow a gameplan. So I believe consistently training helps him. The man works so much. He's never been as good as now, he said. And I honesltly think that it's not the best that he can be, he can still grow. + He does all this with chronic tendinitis, which means he has to restrain from playing cause resting is the best way to heal. PS : Thank you to him for playing he plays a sick and hype character ! I've had enough of swordpeople :D

Yes, it's crazy how MKLeo can win 6-0 against a player who did the run of his life. I guess that the training bootcamp Gluto did with MKLeo helped Gluto to achieve this 2nd place but it also helped MKleo to deal with the Wario matchup perfectly
Gluttony lost to Kolas edge trapping primarily because he wasn't willing to back up and let kola miss. He was too busy trying to move center, to create opportunities to move center
Smash community is biased towards prettier variants of characters, so even the “pretty” version isn’t the default, the community will treat them like the default.
Cosmos did better against Glutonny than all of sisqui, Kola, Zomba, Light, and Sparg0 did but the narration says Glutonny didn't drop games until he fought MkLeo in Winners Side.
It just doesn't make sense to me how the top player discussions around Leo, Tweek, and Spargo never include Gluto. I feel like he's underrated just from being too far away in Europe
NGL, I found it extremely funny that Sparg0 flexed super hard by having a custom trailer shown for his signing with Faze, only to get bodied by Gluto like 45min later.
I mean to be fair, he still got 3rd. And it was the largest tournament post-quarantine. So its not really like thats a bad thing or anything. He only got upset by one player, and that one player is one of the best in the world who just was playing phenomenal that day. Im sure his sponsors are pretty happy with his 3rd place finish.

Its fine to hate a character, but you should learn to separate the character form the player. Sparg0 is a pretty nice dude, you shouldnt hate him cuz he plays Aegis. Its fine to hate Aegis, but dont hate the player. Its just a game, nobody deserves that crap. Theyre just playing characters they like trying to win. But they're separate from their characters. Hate the character, not the player.
