    Q, I am torn between a new Rubicon DCT/EPS or a Foreman ES/EPS. Have you had any issues with your DCT on your Rubicon? What is your opinion on the Foreman with swingarm back suspension?

    • @quaddingsous
      @quaddingsous  2 года назад +1

      I've had 3 Honda's now with the DCT. A 2009 Rancher, a 2015 Rubicon and now my 2021 Rubicon with no issues except on the 2015 it got stuck between gears a few times in the 5 years I owned it, but it was always when I was stopped and all I had to do was turn off the ignition and restart it. The computer would reset and then good to go. It's my understanding that Honda has been making those DCT trannies for quite a long time and they were developed for their racing team.
      As for the Honda Foreman with solid axle . . . It is bulletproof, but it is not a very plush ride.
      I guess it all depends on what you're going to be using the machine for. Working? Or trail riding? If it's for trail riding, I would definitely buy the Rubicon.
      Good luck with your decision and thanks for watching Q-Tube!

Twas good riding! looking forward to part 2. What has blown my mind for the past few years that I have watched your videos is the fact that yall stroll up to these cabins and no one seems to be around. Down here, you find a cabin in the sticks, there's probably crazy hillfolk armed to the ceiling inside it.

    • @quaddingsous
      @quaddingsous  2 года назад +1

      All these cabins are on Crown Land (owned by the people), so we have as much right to be there as anyone. If the doors aren't locked, we can go in. In fact, because of the remoteness of the area, there used to be a law (unwritten I think) that cabins should be unlocked for emergency use. The nicer places usually have a land lease, but most of those messy places are just squatters. Either way, unless someone is hiding from the law, there ain't many folks up here that would greet you with a gun. Pretty much everyone would greet you with a smile and a hand shake. It's true . . . Canadians are friendly - lol

Nope, never worry about ticks for two reasons: They don't like me and I've never seen one that far north. Thunder Mountain is at 54°37'21.63"N & 106°14'10.75"W. Some of our drive was north of that.
