Me in my head: Yall are 5 minutes from my house But seriously all they really need to know is (Do you work hard, will you be on time every day) atleast in my opinion those are the only things that need to pass
I remember getting the position for Dept. Manager & he asked me if i had any questions for him & I said "Just one, when do I start?" He laughed & said thats the best question he'd been asked & then he said you can start Monday. Don't be afraid to show that confidence.
@@baddest5777 My best advice is to feel the vibe in the room the entire time. Smile always & see if they are feeling relaxed with their questioning. If they are too heavy in being professional & not smiling much, it may not be good to ask. However, if you keep getting them to smile & maybe even chuckle a bit sometimes, then they like you for sure & it could be a good question at the end.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I studied this video for hours last night and wrote several pages of notes to study and instantly aced my interview simply by reciting the 4 Walmart values and why they appeal to me. If everything goes to plan, I will be making 14 an hour compared to my current minimum wage job, and it’s all thanks to YOU!
finally did my interview today and it went pretty bad not going to lie but hey i got the job! Honestly so much stressing and watching videos like this for nothing, thank you though i am sure this will help in the future!
@@shaleegrohs9676 with my interview the store hr person had called and i had horrible service at the time so I lost service and my phone cut out. I called back finally after an hour or two the second i was able to at that point i figured it was pointless and i already lost the job, this was my first job ever after all there was more stressing than there needed to be. But long story short people hiring are more understanding then people think and life happens so if anyone is stressing about a job relax do not stress and be yourself. At the end of the day you either get the job or don't there are plenty of opportunities out there and one lost opportunity doesn't mean you won't get the next one.
Got an interview and used this video to help prepare me. The interview itself was really easy and the only question they asked was "give an example where you went above and beyond" I got the job. While they didn't ask all the questions listed in the video I went in feeling a lot more confident than I would have without the video.

Funny story for me, my walmart called saying they couldnt do 1 on 1 interviews due to the virus so gave me the job without an interview at all, just a 10 minute phone call doing the email stuff saying i got the job and boom orientation the next day
I had my virtual interview today and she never asked me interview questions that I prepped for, instead she asked about my availability. Then she said I would receive a couple of emails. Now I'm just waiting for my background check. I can't wait!

Got my interview in 3 hours. Wish me luck Edit: So I just did the interview. We were 4 (group interview). We were given papers to fill individually; one with our availabilities, a situation text where we highlight the wrongs of the employee (there's a lot, also write what they should've done), and questions where we scale the importance of different tasks. Later, a manager comes in and asks us questions in group about the papers we filled. It's really not hard. Try to impose yourself without interrupting anyone and it should be good. Good luck!

I came to RUclips for answers for/about my interview, turns out the interview was pretty simple and no need to worry, a time sheet was given and all they asked was “why do you want to work at Walmart?” And “tell me about yourself”. My advice is; bring a resume (optional) be prepared (shower, be and feel determined for the job) and be confident!
I had my interview today and it wasn’t one on one, they interviewed a group of 5. And the questions were very straightforward- real life situations, dealing with difficult customers. And only lasted 30 mins. That was the most easiest interview I’ve ever had in my life lol and I actually spent a couple of hours preparing for it. So it was a bummer that I wasn’t asked any of the questions I’ve practiced for. 😂😂😂😅

I have a job interview today I’ll update everyone soon. I worked for walmart two years ago in 2019. I didn’t have to wear a suit and tie or anything fancy for the interview they never said anything about my clothes. This time I’m going to wear a polo shirt that’s pretty nice and some nice casual jeans a pair of nice shoes that I got for my 20th birthday. I have confidence in myself to get this done i did ok before with the first interview. Now I have experience I applied for the same position as before cart attendant. I remember my previous job experience so that will help pretty well hopefully. I’m pretty nervous about it but if I don’t get the job I applied for other places and restaurants. So wish me luck. If you have a job interview as well with Walmart i wish you the best of luck. Update-- i got the job just remember to be positive. Try to answer Walmarts questions to the best of your ability and be professional and keep a smile on your face. Since we are wearing masks just be positive lol.

In my experience, they only asked me to tell a little about my self. I answered and was given the job. I’am going to be working as a personal shopper for $15 an hour where minimum wage is just $7.25 an hour 🤑

My interview was group discussion oriented and included a story that you would talk about and about 10 scenarios that you would mark as high, medium, and low in terms of urgency. Ngl if you have common sense you would be able to answer the questions easily but if you really want to prep for the interview you should learn which scenarios are the most urgent and your role. Also there isn't like a right or wrong answer to the urgency of the scenarios as long as you can explain why you put it as high, medium, low. The story wasn't even a challenge...you literally just need to summarize it. Anyways guys I just commented to let anyone who comes across this know about my interview experience. Thank you for sharing pertinent interview info for Walmart. I had an interview this morning 05/3/2023 and went in prepared and confident. In addition, I looked over the company’s website to learn more about them. Unfortunately, non of the interview questions was asked of me. Basically, the second head manager in command wanted to meet me personally, of which she did today. The interview lasted 20 minutes roughly and the remainder focused on general topics. I’m glad to say that I was offered the job immediately as they say “right there and then”. Looking forward to working for one of the largest companies in the world that will support me in professional development and offers growth opportunities. Something to put out there! Nothing comes easy and you have to earn it! So don’t let bad reviews discourage you, keep grinding and it will all pay off. If you’re there for just a “paycheck “ then obviously you won’t grow and stay stagnant, which of course can be boring (make the effort and earn it). On the other hand, if you have the drive and motivation, Walmart will help you move mountains and earn good $$. Just a word of advice and thank you for visiting. Have a blessed day! 🙏

My interview was yesterday, it was really short. She asked me what my plan was after high school(I will be a high school senior this year)what I wanted to be and why I wanted to work at Walmart. Question. For the STAR section, I don't really have a time where I went beyond what was expected of me, so if that's the case, can I just be honest and say that I haven't? In addition, I don't know if this counts as going beyond what was expected, but when I was a freshman at a high school, I was in Human Geography and was assigned with 2 other people for a group assignment. We all had our own parts to fill, so I did that at home however I also did my group members parts as well just in case. The next day, we went into class, and both mentioned that they didn't do their parts, so I said that I did and they didn't fail. Would that be an example?
Honestly I have high hopes for this video, I haven't worked at all in 4 years due to ptsd and working at a loblaws chain in my city, my manager was super toxic about my disability (I was fresh off the plane from my abusive home) and Im extremely nervous because alot of their cashier's (position I'm getting interviewed for) is mostly taken up by foreigners and us aboriginals have alot of hate against us. It's tomorrow at 2pm and it's 2 am right now. I feel like I'm going to flunk my duties and lose my job again from ptsd.

@@teenb302 I did make it. The interview was 10:30 am and I didn't manage to sleep the night before that interview. I was so nervous. Really simple questions. Actually my pc screwed the interview. I was having the interview then after the questions and my questions, the interviewer told me about the email stuff, their manager's contact number then suddenly my pc died. It restarted on its own. I was so nervous what was gonna happen. I emailed them saying sorry. after 2 days, walmart (the manager) called me asked about what happened. I told him about the reboot of the computer, then said to wait for further emails. I received an email the next day and got a job offer. This was my first interview

I got the job. It was a group interview. The questions were the same as these. It took a week to get the interview results. My advice is stay cheerful and interested throughout the interview.

Everything else is great, but I really don't think if you're applying for an entry level job you need to or even should wear a suit and tie. A decent dress shirt and nice jeans or slacks? Yeah, but a suit would be overkill.

We were given papers to fill individually; one with our availabilities, a situation text where we highlight the wrongs of the employee (there's a lot, also write what they should've done), and questions where we scale the importance of different tasks.
Later, a manager comes in and asks us questions in group about the papers we filled. It's really not hard. Try to impose yourself without interrupting anyone and it should be good. Good luck!

I came to RUclips for answers for/about my interview, turns out the interview was pretty simple and no need to worry, a time sheet was given and all they asked was “why do you want to work at Walmart?” And “tell me about yourself”. My advice is; bring a resume (optional) be prepared (shower, be and feel determined for the job) and be confident!

I had my interview today and it wasn’t one on one, they interviewed a group of 5. And the questions were very straightforward- real life situations, dealing with difficult customers. And only lasted 30 mins. That was the most easiest interview I’ve ever had in my life lol and I actually spent a couple of hours preparing for it. So it was a bummer that I wasn’t asked any of the questions I’ve practiced for. 😂😂😂😅

I have a job interview today I’ll update everyone soon. I worked for walmart two years ago in 2019. I didn’t have to wear a suit and tie or anything fancy for the interview they never said anything about my clothes. This time I’m going to wear a polo shirt that’s pretty nice and some nice casual jeans a pair of nice shoes that I got for my 20th birthday. I have confidence in myself to get this done i did ok before with the first interview. Now I have experience I applied for the same position as before cart attendant. I remember my previous job experience so that will help pretty well hopefully. I’m pretty nervous about it but if I don’t get the job I applied for other places and restaurants. So wish me luck. If you have a job interview as well with Walmart i wish you the best of luck. Update-- i got the job just remember to be positive. Try to answer Walmarts questions to the best of your ability and be professional and keep a smile on your face. Since we are wearing masks just be positive lol.

In my experience, they only asked me to tell a little about my self. I answered and was given the job. I’am going to be working as a personal shopper for $15 an hour where minimum wage is just $7.25 an hour 🤑

My interview was group discussion oriented and included a story that you would talk about and about 10 scenarios that you would mark as high, medium, and low in terms of urgency. Ngl if you have common sense you would be able to answer the questions easily but if you really want to prep for the interview you should learn which scenarios are the most urgent and your role. Also there isn't like a right or wrong answer to the urgency of the scenarios as long as you can explain why you put it as high, medium, low. The story wasn't even a challenge...you literally just need to summarize it. Anyways guys I just commented to let anyone who comes across this know about my interview experience. I'm waiting for their email so yea wish me luck :)

Thank you for sharing pertinent interview info for Walmart. I had an interview this morning 05/3/2023 and went in prepared and confident. In addition, I looked over the company’s website to learn more about them. Unfortunately, non of the interview questions was asked of me. Basically, the second head manager in command wanted to meet me personally, of which she did today. The interview lasted 20 minutes roughly and the remainder focused on general topics. I’m glad to say that I was offered the job immediately as they say “right there and then”. Looking forward to working for one of the largest companies in the world that will support me in professional development and offers growth opportunities. Something to put out there! Nothing comes easy and you have to earn it! So don’t let bad reviews discourage you, keep grinding and it will all pay off. If you’re there for just a “paycheck “ then obviously you won’t grow and stay stagnant, which of course can be boring (make the effort and earn it). On the other hand, if you have the drive and motivation, Walmart will help you move mountains and earn good $$. Just a word of advice and thank you for visiting. Have a blessed day! 🙏

My interview was yesterday, it was really short. She asked me what my plan was after high school(I will be a high school senior this year)what I wanted to be and why I wanted to work at Walmart. Question. For the STAR section, I don't really have a time where I went beyond what was expected of me, so if that's the case, can I just be honest and say that I haven't? In addition, I don't know if this counts as going beyond what was expected, but when I was a freshman at a high school, I was in Human Geography and was assigned with 2 other people for a group assignment. We all had our own parts to fill, so I did that at home however I also did my group members parts as well just in case. The next day, we went into class, and both mentioned that they didn't do their parts, so I said that I did and they didn't fail. Would that be an example?

Honestly I have high hopes for this video, I haven't worked at all in 4 years due to ptsd and working at a loblaws chain in my city, my manager was super toxic about my disability (I was fresh off the plane from my abusive home) and Im extremely nervous because alot of their cashier's (position I'm getting interviewed for) is mostly taken up by foreigners and us aboriginals have alot of hate against us. It's tomorrow at 2pm and it's 2 am right now. I feel like I'm going to flunk my duties and lose my job again from ptsd.

@@teenb302 I did make it. The interview was 10:30 am and I didn't manage to sleep the night before that interview. I was so nervous. Really simple questions. Actually my pc screwed the interview. I was having the interview then after the questions and my questions, the interviewer told me about the email stuff, their manager's contact number then suddenly my pc died. It restarted on its own. I was so nervous what was gonna happen. I emailed them saying sorry. after 2 days, walmart (the manager) called me asked about what happened. I told him about the reboot of the computer, then said to wait for further emails. I received an email the next day and got a job offer. This was my first interview
