So glad to see you posting regularly again. This was a particularly important video. Pruner care is a fundamental that is often overlooked. I would love to see a video on disinfecting (sterilizing between infected plants)pruners and a tutorial on why it's important.
Thanks Mark. I have to be honest, I've never sterilized pruners. I may be part of the problem. From what I understand you can keep a can of disenfectent nearby and dip your pruners between cuts or plants. If I see diseased wood I try to prune below it.
They really are the best
The great thing about doing a video is you could always stop, watch it back, and see how you took it apart if you needed to.
That crossed my mind when I started to put the blades back on. It always takes a few tries to get it right though I'm getting faster.
So happy you’re back!!
Thanks Foster! Don't forget to hit that like button....
Hey! Good to see you again.
Nice to see you too!
Thank you for this video. Good info. I keep putting off cleaning and sharpening my Felco 2’s. So thanks for the reminder.
Happy Thanksgiving!
I've been there too. The more you do it the better you'll get at it.
Drivin' home this evening
I coulda sworn we had it all worked out
Yes! Yes! Yes! Somebody gets it!!!
@@CTSCAPER I worked at Home Depot listening to Bryan Adams all the time. He was one of the better artists at work. I heard " Cuts Like a Knife", " Run to You", "This Time", and "Summer of '69" almost every day. It's the main thing that passed the time away at work.
I have been buying cheap pruners for years to trim up saplings. What set of Felco’s would you recommend for that type of work? They stay in my truck mostly for when I’m at the farm.
Felco 2's are the ones you want. They are a great general purpose pruner.
I have Felco 8 they are more ergonomic and that’s what I love.
