The Boz miss should've been a punt. Pin the Browns deep. Nope, attempt to kick a 57 yarder in inclement weather. That's not on Boz.

That was a Mediocre Mike special, that game was over after the last pick. But in Tomlin form he decides to milk the clock with a one point lead and 5 minutes left by constantly giving the ball to a running back who can’t see the holes nor has any speed or elusiveness. Warren and Patterson should get the ball or be in the game for that situation. Tomlin coaches not to lose instead of coaching to win aka Dan Campbell (Detroit). He’s supposed to allow his team to finish the game. I watched his body language on the sidelines, he was shook. He’s achieved his goal for the season, we’re at .500 don’t expect anything more. But your like Russ had a good game. You can’t blame the weather. Weather was not an excuse for Fields during Dallas. Fields was held accountable for bumbled snaps and fumbles. Boz is still goated
Browns had the stadium, the weather, and Myles Garrett had our number. He heard all the noise and he knows he didn't deserve that DPOY and wanted to make a point on top of their O-Line making sure TJ wasn't going to have impact. Winston is huge moral booster as well. Browns fans and the team in general didn't want to play for Watson. We have our opportunity to strike back very soon and we better show em whose boss.

Mother nature is always unpredictable. That was wild how fast it changed. With that said. They wanna earn a home playoff game, find a damn way to win those bad weather games. Shoulda been huge shift when we took lead back as fast as they did. Huge turnovers. Then a joke of clock management

  • @jasonsayre957
    @jasonsayre957 4 часа назад

I don’t understand not being aggressive on D on those final drives when there is still time left for your offense to score to win the game. Play man to man and let your players be aggressive. Instead we let Juedy wide open to convert the first down with 2 Steelers in the area. We are so afraid of giving up a big play, we let the Browns offense drive down the field and kill the clock. Poor coaching, sorry to say it.

Steelers lost the game around the 3:30 mark in the 4th. 3rd & 4 with a one point lead. They take a shot downfeild which ends up incomplete & stops the clock. Then punt on the 4th giving the brows like 3:15 to overcome a one point deficit.

I support Tomlin and think he’s a great coach but there’s a little bit of feeling that he miss managed this game and botched the use of timeouts in both halves, went for too many fourth downs, and putting fields in there to run some plays that the Steelers looked like they weren’t ready to block for

Thursday night games are their own thing separate than the rest of the season. Always weird things sloppy sloppy football bad football doesn’t matter who’s playing
I don’t know what the numbers would say but it feels like there’s a bigger advantage to the HOME team again regardless of who is playing you just try to play your Thursday game and get out alive whenever it is.

Warren needs to be #1. Secondary coaching needs a change the secondary was like bubble boy out there. Offensive play was like we were sleeping at the wheel at times. Russ play was not that good. Receivers don't put in any effort during scramble drills to try to get open or run in the direction of the QB. Our offense is too predictable way too often with the personnel on the field giving it away.

I'm not gonna sit here and pretend the Steelers don't have things to sort out. The O line is playing inconsistently, and that alone will throw a wrench into anything that resembles consistency. But it's honestly SAD how negative "fans" get after a loss. It's like they somehow subconsciously would rather lose, so they can feed their negative thought loop. They love to be miserable. Instead of seeing that this is one loss coming off a 5 game win streak. On the road, in the snow, three days after a Ravens fight. I'm not making excuses, they shot themselves in the foot tonight. On multiple occasions. But to play the doom and gloom game like some are, is not only ridiculous, but it serves no one. A complete overreaction.

Your bias for Justin Fields is extremely cringe. Other than the fumble Russ carved up Cleveland in the snow and was lights out in the second half. “Russ isn’t drawing that roughing the passer flag” is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. He stood in the pocket like an Ironman taking hit after hit. Fields had one single positive play.
Acting like the offense wasn’t near dead last in the league when Fields was the starter

  • @mikefreeman945

    Why did the Steelers lose?
1-Poor decisions by head coach. Everything Tomlin did worked against the Steelers in this game. Poor decisions on when to punt, when to to go for it, when to put Fields in - much of it didn't make sense. The Steelers are better than the Browns. Play it straight. Don't make decisions that help them. That was the opening they needed to stay in the game.
2-Poor decisions by players. Too many pre and post penalties that helped the Browns. Dumb and unnecessary.
3-Poor decisions by OC. Steelers play calling too predictable. Kept running on first down and it never worked. On the other side, Winston was airing it out on first down. Miles Garrett becomes a much better pass rusher on 3rd and 7 vs 1st and 10. At least mix it up Steelers.
4-Tomlin did not play to his strengths. RW is great in the last 2 minutes. Why not let them try the field goal at 4th and 2 - and get the ball back with a minute and a half with 2 time outs. You want to have the ball with a chance to win at the end. RW was in FG position at the end even though he had less time and less timouts - he just had to have a touchdown at that point. Terrible decisions down the stretch.
5-Absolute terrible punt right when you needed to make a normal punt. We kept finding ways to give them short fields.
Steelers outgained the Browns. both running and passing. Steelers won 3rd down clearly. Steelers won turnover battle clearly. Steelers won time of position clearly. Steelers still lose the game. That is not supposed to happen - too many poor decisons made by coaches and players that killed all of that advantages we had as far as play.
