Only criticism i can give is probably leaving a few more messages subliminally instead of telling us. Like when Dylan is saying their guns are fake, instead of him outright saying a line like that, let the audience deduce that’s what’s happened with the guns.
I like the direction, the message and acting has gotten so much better. Keep it up, these short films are going to be gold the more yall work!

Another critique is foreshadowing that Mark gave out the fake guns earlier. Sort of like they did to Berleezy. The camera panned to his face once earlier which setup the scene where we see him kill Ipi and Desmond.
Cinematography took a level up in this one. Major respect.

Constructive criticism: be careful to make sure the order of events make sense. Yall did a fanatastic job throughout the whole video. One of the few instances was yall put the masks on at the beginning after yall walked in and had walked past a couple cameras. It can affect the immersion and believability in the scene. Again, great job, yall. It was great to watch. Great camera work, great script, great acting, great musical accompaniment(yall already know the OST is highly important for setting the mood and controlling the audiences emotions. Overall was highly succesful.
This was a well-constructed short film! The background music, the shots (literally too) and the twists were amazing! I felt that perhaps we could have gotten a little more intro with all the characters at the start to set-up the various interpersonal connections going around, kinda like a brainmap, but appreciate the non-linear narration to keep us hooked! and Shout out to Desmond, our first casualty, for killing it!
Ipi was the first casualty and he is an official member of RDC.

Just wanted to make a report on the whole video
First, we’ll go over everyones main job according to Mark’s original plan.
Mark and Desmond: Break into the vault and fill up the three bags with money from the vault. Mark would also make sure that Desmond didn’t try any funny business.
Leland, Dylan, Ben, and Ipi: Keep all citizens in check and make sure no one moves. Leland’s gold role is to make sure everyone stays in line according to Mark’s plan.
John: Getaway driver and lookout. He makes sure nothing suspicious goes on, and he also keeps an eye out for a certain someone.
???: The mystery character is actually PG, who is either apart of the original plan Mark created, or bribed, but based on his interactions with Mark and his best friend, I’d like to think the former idea. PG serves as an indicator to the remaining time Mark and his friends have left, serving as a reminder that the group needed to get out fast. John curses when he spots him either because they were running out of time, or the plan was going wrong. He also serves as the trump card if Mark and his team were betrayed.
Now we’ll go over all the plans: Mark’s plan. Mark’s plan was to get in quickly, grab the money, minimize the amount of casualties to little or none, and get out, splitting the money. However, knowing he couldn’t trust Desmond and Ipi based off their dialogue which hinted to them being greedy, he decided to give everyone but his best friends, who are John, Leland, and possibly PG guns. PG may have his own due to him being an officer, but I’m not sure. The rest of his plan follows after the actions of his friends and theirs. (He also decided that Ben and Dylan were untrustworthy by association, which helped out greatly for them in the end.
Ipi and Desmond’s plan:
Plan is plain and simple; kill Mark and his best friends, and dip, possibly killing John too and using the car to get away. What they didn’t know was that they couldn’t trust Ben and Dylan.
Ben, Dylan, and Berleezy:
Their original plan was to have Berleezy working as a security guard, who had access to cameras and everything. His job was to shut off the security cameras, play along with the robbery, and one by one take out all of the robbers excluding Dylan and Ben, all while gaining the trust of the citizens in peril by “apprehending” Ben and Dylan. They were initially working with Ipi and Desmond, but got greedy just like them and decided to kill them off. This can be inferred when Ipi tells Ben “You’re still acting.”
What went wrong?
Desmond tried to kill Mark. After that, the whole plan fell apart. In the midst between the commotion in the lobby, Berleezy got up and killed Ipi and Desmond, and was supposed to take Dylan and Ben away. He messed up by saying Ben’s name, which Mark caught onto. The shootout then occurs, and as Ben sneaks away, PG shoots and kills him, then going to shoot Dylan and Berleezy. PG then takes over the rest of the plan, and Marks group walks away freely.
Ben getting shot was the funniest shit. Tryna be smooth walking *boom “ah” 😂😂😂😂

The twists! Got whiplash. The cameos! Good to see Eezy Gang and was pleasantly surprised. Berlin brought so much that would have been missing without him. The flashbacks were timed well and added depth and intrigue to the story. Ben walking outside sent me to the moon. I laughed for a minute! The camera work! Aff is on another level! The subtle nature of how Leland looked suspiciously and inquisitively as Berlin called Ben by name. I though John was gonna ambush PG! Lmao.Well done! 11:56 Only form of constructive criticism I got for this film is the length. It's a 10/10 vid, but I wish it was longer. All in all, I understand the time, effort, and cost that comes with making these films. Eventually y'all will be dropping movies 💯

I wasn't expecting 40 minutes but I definitely thought It would be around 20-25 minutes (Kinda like Anime House 5 length). The longer the film, the more engaging the scenes and dialogue would've felt (It was still very good, y'all please don't trip) and I liked the ending, I didn't say anything about changing the scenes. Like I said 10/10 vid. Just constructive criticism like Mark wanted.

@@ReaIities that’s if u have literally everything u need. we know that they don’t have that type of equipment yet which is most likely why they made rdcuniverse so those funds can go to better equipment for more skits, short films and stuff like anime house and video game house.
I like the premise and the continual unfolding. The cool thing about short films is that you can really focus the parts you want to tell while still maintains high immersion with good writing. Looking forward to more ☺️
Edit: In terms of constructive criticism, having some allusion to the two twist characters (the cop and Berleezy) at the end would make the piece stronger. Since the cop was brought in by John, there’s potential to explore/further strengthen the distinction of best friend from the others. I think for stories where things are cyclical (or set up like a Russian nesting doll) having as many elements resonate across the plot makes the story stronger.

very proud of yall and what you've done. my only critique is to invest in a choreographer/stunt coordinator. They aren't just for dance routines. All the gun scenes and fight scenes in these movies look so clean because a choreographer is mapping out everything and taking it from a vision and putting it into realism. Some of the shooting aspects in the heat of the moment seemed off or sloppy and it's just cause we needed a different, trained eye to help out with it. overall this was a great short story and every one did so well! i love it.

Only actual critique I have is that the post-processing effects need some more tweaking. Not just for the bloom during outside shots, but for gun shots and wounds/blood and stuff like that. And it was a little confusing at first, story-wise, but I'd say it's still some good writing so far. I genuinely wish you guys luck in the future :)

If I had to give a suggestion I would say to add another flashback to show the last cop being in on the plan because tbh when I watched it the first time I thought John had betrayed Mark and Leland or something until it gets shown later, although you might have done that intentionally. Regardless, it was great and I can't wait to see more!

This was great overall. The writing was great, and the plot twists help keep the viewer engaged. Theres a small continuity error around 8:37 where Dylan pretty much teleports into danger out of nowhere, making the scene pretty jarring. But other than that this film was fantastic.
