Great vid. Thanks very informative. It took me 3 1/2 hrs. From taking the door panel off until I snapped the door panel back on. First time doing this job... 😁
i was just trying to see what was rattling on the top corner when my 8 inch mid bass speakers that i have in my 95 hit on deep notes something rattles, its at the top corner and its that thing that has black rubber all around it,a rod attaches to it,so i cant really do too much to stop it,god I HATE RATTLES haha man thats a ton of work,if mine goes out i will just buy the whole black metal door panel that you have on the floor with everything already attached good lord thats alot of work, thanks for taking the time to show people how to do it though dude.
Drill out the rivits that hold your door lock actuator to the panel and replace them with bolts. That will fix your rattle quick and easy... 'cause you wont find that panel with everything attached
Hi, in this video you mention a larger video in which you removed the door panel, regulator and motor - could you please tell me how to find that video? Thanks!
helpful video but something important ot me wasn't added. those other rivets that had the banana peel lookin metal on them were SO HARD TO DEAL WITH! I ended up getting them drilled out but i have never seen them before and did not know what to do.
If you look in the description of the video you'll see that I posted a link to the full video of this procedure which included all of what your looking for. I made this smaller video for the folks that did not need help with those things and didn't want to watch a long video. Good luck to you and be careful!
Why would anybody replace just the motor. All I can find is the new regulator motor assembly that already has a new motor attached to it and it's only 40 bucks for everything brand new.
+Ryan Hilldale To some folks $5, $10 or $15 dollars saved is a big deal. So buying the motor would be the best option. Also, not everyone has the same parts availability as we do. So if they can only get a motor....
This is exactly why I purchased the whole new regulator with motor
I couldn't have repaired my reg and motor with out your video. Many blessing to you and thank you.
No problem 😊
