Long time no see saudara Daniel... lama you tidak upload video kereta api... huhu... aritu saya sempat lihat Senandung Timuran 26 di Bahau... dalam pukul 2.00 pagi saya tengok ST26 lalu... keje gila tengok train tgh mlm camtu....huhuhu
Ya Sdra Daniel, tahniah atas kejayaan merakam video ini akhirnya..betul tu pengiraan Sdra mengenai rakaman terakhir video Sdra di landasan tunggal..tiada rancangankah dlm masa terdekat ini utk rakaman perjalanan dgn ETS balik Utara? Sedia menanti rakaman video seterusnya drpd Sdra..Terima kasih..
Looks so scary. If you really notice the track which is approaching Kluang Station from North is really crucket. While the locomotive approaches the station can really see that its shacking. Anyway what I got to know is the tracks from Gemas till JB is going to be entirely new as the double tracking project is under progress.
Where was the empty rake that had two 25 class at each end between 21:09 to 22:26 going to when it goes to JB Sentral I think that is an extra Shuttle Tebrau
Nice video! I'm planning a trip to Malaysia this year, and I'm quite curious: Will I really be fined if I open the doors when the train is moving? And can I enter a station without a train ticket?
Don't open the door on double track sections, or when the train is moving above 15kph hahaha.... More importantly, don't do it under the eyes of the train guards :) For double-track stations, only those having tickets can enter the platform (except Kuala Lumpur Old Station's Platform 1). For single-track stations like Kluang; Kempas Baru, you don't need a ticket.
Why the tracks are all so senget? bengkang-bengkok already. Isn't KTMB doing anything about their tracks? definitely the train rides will not be smooth at all.
+Samuel Selvaraj Selladurai You must be quite new into railfanning in Malaysia :) Back when "double-track" means Klang Valley, this was what we all enjoyed ;)
That is why there is a 50km/h speed limit in force at that particular section of track. KTMB's answer to this track problem is the Johor Double Tracking Project.
Looking south, Mengkibol has a electrically protected loop line on the right, and a loop siding with manual switches on the left. These loop lines were used for unloading gypsum back when the Merapoh - Mengkibol gypsum train was still running. When that service ended in around agak-agaknya 2013, both stations fell into disuse. Mengkibol was particularly hit hard as there were no passenger train that stops here.
No idea. Can't even be sure whether the British built it this way before the 1995 upgrades, or was modified after. But one of the advantages of Y point is that the train can go into the loop line at a higher speed than is possible using the normal branching point.

At 20.22, what was the speed of the train?
Sangat mengujakan. Love it... terima kasih atas video ini.
Bila dekat objek tersayang, mana terasa letihnya & panasnya... hahaha sama-sama :)

It's known as a wye switch. This (i think) is the only wye switch on KTMB mainline.
32:02 panjang betul jambatan tu
Tu jambatan pipeline
Did you see the E&O hangar at the side of the road toward pasir gudang?
+Hunter Tan Yes :)
Wow
Where was the empty rake that had two 25 class at each end between 21:09 to 22:26 going to when it goes to JB Sentral
I think that is an extra Shuttle Tebrau
Yes it was
Thanks Daniel....
Bro did you forgot that they had a fine if you open the door well the train is in motion in 1:35
Nobody enforced that. And the view was worth the risk.
Nice video!

+Daniel Qihuai Ng Thanks a lot.
Cecak kobeng berlepas 🤣
Seems to me that the track section between kluang and kempas uses concrete sleepers instead of wood. When were the sleepers replaced ?
2005, in conjunction with the commencement of the operation of Blue Tiger locomotives on the KTM West Coast Line.
Bye my hometown

+Samuel Selvaraj Selladurai 22:59. Agree to this comment. This needs to be fixed before it is too late.

At mengkibol, there'an extra siding on the left of the track as you go south. What that extra siding for?
Looking south, Mengkibol has a electrically protected loop line on the right, and a loop siding with manual switches on the left. These loop lines were used for unloading gypsum back when the Merapoh - Mengkibol gypsum train was still running. When that service ended in around agak-agaknya 2013, both stations fell into disuse. @@DanielQihuaiNg If not misataken second quarter 2014. Because in 2014 there is still the rake at Merapoh..
Daniel tren kat 21:11 tu Shuttle tebrau ke? Sbab tren tu ade 2 class 25
Tu mungkin set spare shuttle tebrau
Sebelah tu pun ada set spare Ekspres Timuran
14:14 Where is the branch on the left going to, dead end siding?
+elleooi Looks like a spur line to me, yes, a dead end siding. There could have been some previous use for it though.
@@DanielQihuaiNg Very lucky you, go to JB @CecakKobeng bring you explore Pasir Gudang, I went JB, he brought me to cemetary makan mee jawa only

tak de orang yang nak saman hehe
The point/junction at 43.56 looks unsual, doesnt it?
It's known as a wye switch. This (i think) is the only wye switch on KTMB mainline.
Daniel Qihuai Ng Why was it designed in such a way?
No idea. Can't even be sure whether the British built it this way before the 1995 upgrades, or was modified after. But one of the advantages of Y point is that the train can go into the loop line at a higher speed than is possible using the normal branching point.
Daniel Qihuai Ng The 1995 upgrade was the period when the sidings were extended right?
Yes. A lot of things happened in 1995... token system replaced, some small stations closed down, loop lines lengthened etc
Is the track to Pasir Gudang port still in use?
+diema179 To Pasir Gudang port, yes. There are some disused track sections as well.
+Daniel Qihuai Ng Thank U
+Daniel Qihuai Ng Glad to see freight train still thrive in Malaysia,I miss the container train I saw when I was a kid.
Hehe, check my northern sector videos. The container trains between Padang Besar - Butterworth gives KTMB a significant amount of revenue :)
guna camera apa ni?wow
Nikon P520 :)
Wow nice..jauh dia zoom
teruknye track
Itu bukan track utama...jika seliseh sahaja baru guna track itu....
