    At 3:00 you started talking about the drums and overall mix. Man I wish Nick would do a masterclass on production. I can't for the life of me, figure out how he gets so much low end and "oomph" while still being so clear, and especially how he incorporates so many different atmospheric sounds. The guy is being slept on as a producer/engineer and musician

    Great review. This album is an investment as I’m appreciating it more with every listen. Previous albums have been much easier to get into but this album is growing on me exponentially.

    Enjoyed every second of this album, really liked Undercity and Black mountain as stand out tracks for me personally. Weirdly enough i loved Vultures of North as a single but it didnt really work for me in the album. I agree its their best album overall tho

    Hat of for that. A reviewe that I was hoping to hear, after the to first singles realised.
    And a little Question to you Pedro, how many playtrugh do you normaly do for at review of an album?
    My other question will be to all other OC fans outthere.
    -Will ther bee another singel reliased before the album, and witch song?
    Alienated har been played on many live performaces this yaer?

      I normally listen to an album at the very least 3 times. But sometimes I go as far as 8 or more, depending on how comfortable I am with my thoughts on the record.

    My main problem with Orbit Culture is the relentless 'OOOMPH!!!' of their production choices. It's total LOUDNESS WAR carnage. How much of the band's heaviness is due to the production?

    I'll be out of tune with others but in my opinion Nija set such high standards that the new album is only mediocre compared to Nija.

  • @ricknesar1627
    @ricknesar1627 Год назад +1

    Post first listen. - Black Mountain, is the #1 song without no doubt and Nija was better than, Descent, first listen. All of this from my first listen, don´t hate my guts lol

    • @APREACTS
      @APREACTS  Год назад +2

      That was my experience as well but this album has a better shelf life as a record. Nija had more great individual songs but this is a better record from a collective standpoint

    Agreed to disagree, very disappointed from my view atleast.

  • @Hitch-82

    The previous album of the band is one of my all time best albums really .
    Watching this review i wonder how can be the new album better than the phenomenal Nija .
    I mean i heard the singles i liked them but the impact on me was way weaker than the songs of Nija .
    Its not easy to make songs better than behold, the shadowing or rebirth .

    • @APREACTS
      @APREACTS  Год назад +4

      Individually Nija had more hits, but as a record this one is more complete.

      @@BenDew85for me it’s track 1 and 3 but there still very good songs but there not legendary status like the other ones
