- Apex Legends New Buffs & Nerfs Have Players Enraged as the new Meta Legend of Bangalore and Bloundhound after there showing in ALGS have pro's calling for a nerf after Imperialhal and Hiswattson dominated with him, along with changes for Alter and Crypto and the Havoc due to their high pick rates has Respawn Developers talking about new gameplay changes that are being worked on and new hop-ups and survival items that are looking to change the meta going forward to shake up future competitions

Ngl we don’t need a whole new list of legend abilities for specific modes just cap it to two legends from each category. So yeah we don’t have lame end games with nothing but controller legends.

Getting rid of digi threats is one of the worst things apex has done.
I question when the last time Thordan actually played this game was. He said digi still works on pistols and shotguns….

Tbh Blood didn’t really get nerfed that much because the threat vision from his ult only helped him against Bangs/Caustics, and since both of those characters are nerfed, the threat vision isn’t going to be an important part of his ult, the speed boost and tac reduction are.
They didn't instead they should have buffed other characters to counter those two
You can thank the pros for abusing this combo in pro leagues.
@@Prod.Aether devs only listen to the pros and balance the games for them, completely ignoring casual and ranked. Imo pro scene should have different balancing from casual on certain legends and weapons.
No, they don't. Instead of nerfing people because everyone uses them, how about we just buff everyone and make everyone viable so that there is not just one meta. Give people actual perks and abilities that can compete.

Smoke still blocks vision from people out of it and scans still scan through smoke. People are over reacting..
Instead of nerfing Bangalore, they should give her a new tactical and make smoke grenade a floor item.

They keep nerfing the guns when the gun hasnt been an issue until after the prior top weapons were nerfed.
Likewise with characters in comp.
Good point on Quads, but that’s an easy fixed for each team. You only get two controller legends, or just two legends per class

The way to balance Bangalore meta was the same as the Valkyrie meta - introduce a universal item that mirrors what makes them so strong: I.e. a smoke grenade or smoke survival item. Now you don’t HAVE to run Bangalore to have cover in open areas and she gets to still stay strong because she gets them more often and also still has her passive and ult
The amount of cheaters in the game is a huge problem istead of focusing on character adjustments they should focus on banning all of the cheaters
Nerfing all guns to the ground is a clear example of not knowing how to balance a shooter, now most guns are mediocre and boring from how many nerfs they get, if Havok was too strong then buff the other auto ARs so that we can actually have a choice between which of the good guns we want to use, smgs are trash, shotguns are literally hit or miss, handguns is dominated by wingman, marksman feel mid, snipers are boring and ARs are either controller gun or havok
My point is that they keep nerfing things when they SAY they are trying to future proof Apex… by making it less fun&challenging? Revert Bangalores smoke to do that very very small amount of damage per canister, bring back the damn smg digi-threat optic fit, make Caustics slowing or even just make the gas ultra deadly again seeing is that’s all he has. Thordin said it, make the Legends gimmicks, THEIR THING, their abilities great and powerful again. They all balance each other out anyway, just like the smg digi-threat balances smoke&gas.
Yaaaaaay for nerfing everyone and everything until no one wants to play their mains and dare I say… the damn game at some point in the future. ADD STUFF to your game, almost never take away stuff from your games, these should be fun not just feeling like a game that has no UMPH!
I don't think you've thought about the bang smoke nerf enough, the Digi nerf means nobody can see into bang smoke, only those also in it. What this means is the bang smoke will act like the void fight we heard was coming to Alter at first, so the smoke will hide you from enemies mid-long range, if your teammate pushes the smoke you can't help him unless you also commit to the smoke

@@CyrusIsntThat depends how you look at it. The main thing in her kit is the tactical because you don't have your ultimate that often. But when your tactical doesn't function the way it should, it basically makes a character useless. I mean, what good is a smoke healing perk if I choose to use it. I now have a big highlight on me. It's like handing everyone a Digi threat
Not complaining but just making a point. Game devs usually make the wrong choice by nerfing good items in games and don’t realize that it’s a better decision to buff other items to be competitive and level the playing field.

I think it would be cool if they brought the crafting like wth the anime event/halloween where u can make it after (still 2.4k per skin) and if u craft all of them even out of the event u get the heirloom. Like u craft all skins from event even after u complete a “crafting collection” to get the heirloom even after. So its easier to get heirlooms wth using crafting mats still over a while. Idk just a thought tho
All they needed to do was make crypto and mirage unscannable and bam, counter play and you fixed the brokenness of the scanning

Don't know why they can't just make like "restricted versions of legend abilities in the mixtape modes. Example. Caustic can onpy place 2 traps and is ult radius is smaller or catalyst can only place 1 trap lock on door and the ult is half the size. Bang can use 1 smoke and the ult does the damage but doesn't slow.
Only in mixtape that way shooting and playing the objective is more important than just using broken legends with op abilities for certain modes

Is anyone having problems tyring accept a game invite or to send one. I can't join friends lobbies or send them invites. My account ID is showing as unknown, and saying I'm in a lobby of 0/0. I can not even play, I tried to load into a SOLOS mode and it says party is not ready.

The problem with the game is that the devs are constantly behind on fixing the newest issues and unable to make the connection with a fix on the issues while still staying on track with their business model/plan/the meta.

I honestly think that Apex should make a version of the same game for Algs because all of the nerfs made doesn't really help the basic Apex player just trying to have fun
"separation" of game modes is clearly the best choice on how to handle this situation, but lets face it EA will argue that, its impossible to implement. Which we know its not the case cause ArenaNet made it work with Guild Wars 2, so we know its possible to do without much effort.
I play Bloodhound and honestly don’t even see these as real nerfs. Don’t tend to pair up with Bangalore though
I don't think they're supposed to all work in mixtape modes. Battle Royale is still the core game, all balance (even poorly thought out balance) is for the core game.
I feel like the Havic needs more of a nerf then that but I'll take what I can get lol it did have an insane amount of ammo for being so strong I think it was like 30 something shots with a gold mag

I main BH, and honestly, not seeing inside the smoke really hurts the legend.
I dont think the banglore nerf is bad really like u can still use it exactly the way it was meant to be used, your not supposed to hide in your smoke with enemy players your supposed to use it to cut off enemy view for example shot it at a team on top of high ground snipping, this nerf just gets rid of the awkward fights with two people blindly shooting in smoke or bloodhound just being able to kill blind enemies for free while hes in his ult

finaly, after scan meta comes some of the lower pick-rate legends to the top, like Ballistic who is kinda good after perk rework, i am hyped for new ranked meta

You need to buff legends or guns that aren’t even a thought in the players mind.

A slight hipfire nerf 10-15% with the reduced magazine size should be more than sufficient to keep the havok competitive. I DONT THINK IT SHOULD GET NERFED LIKE THE R9 DID.. 😂

I dont think Bangalore is useless now you can smoke someone that is almost dead to go finish them or to block yourself from getting shot by their teammates when in battle. Also it is still useful in smoking your way through a field or smoke the team to push up.

If they just left the recoil on the havoc alone, gun really wouldn’t be a problem. Recoil used to be the hardest in the game and now it’s basically a tenth of how hard it was. Sure the ttk is the best in the game at like two hundred something but recoil took constant use to master. I don’t get why they made it easier tbh.
Personal I feel like the Havoc has been really easy to use for a long time and yea the recoil was a bit worse but only at long range the Havoc has been very strong for a long time

Controller legends are also incredibly annoying in mix tape. IMO they should double all of their tactical cooldowns as it barely makes sense to destroy them when they can just instantly rebuild them or have their cooldowns start once they are destroyed so that they don't have them ready again as soon as they are destroyed.

I feel like this is a good step towards the right direction, I really think that bloodhound and Bangalore did deserve the change not Bangalore tho that was completely dumb and the weapon changes towards the havoc was a good but really needs more. I'm just excited for the lifeline prestige skin
