I have a diffused pattern and will start Finasteride to see what it does. I am already NW 7 and one clinic suggested grafts from the Scalp + Beard + Body. Could finasteride be helpful, and what other things can I do. I am 31 years old and living in Florida.
What should you do if you have dupa? How do you treat it if you can't have surgery? Is it even treatable? Asking because I'm going through this myself.
Yes, medical therapy will be very helpful and I would highly recommend an oral over a topical therapy in general because it can hit the entire scalp better than a topical. It’s hard for a topical to be able to be easily and consistently placed from stem to stern of your scalp. Also make sure you see a qualified dermatologist or hair loss specialist to help you. Do not do surgery or be talked into it.
@@samlammd Thank you so much for replying to me. I am currently on 5mg of oral minoxidil for 3 months with currently no improvement. I get sides from finasteride (fatique) so I try to take it topically, but I can only do that once a week. I feel like I am out of options for myself beyond that. Have you seen anyone overcome DUPA/retrograde alopecia? Is there anything else you can recommend for me beyond the standard min/fin/keto/microneedling that is out there?
@@999yuiop I do the hair stem for people in dallas and my Folliflo on Amazon (shampoo, conditioner and serum) can help but I don’t want to oversell you those. They only serve as supports. I also do injectable dutasteride with zero side effects but all of this requires cost and commitment.
@@samlammd This is the first time I'm hearing about injectable dutasteride, but I am interested. How frequently would I need to do this? @@999yuiop I’m newer to doing this with good results so far. Most cases are overseas. The good thing is that there are no reported sexual side effects. The way I do it is minimal pain and I do it once a month for 3 months then maintain it every 3 months.

I heard that there are different causes of hairloss, and that finasteride is used specifically to treat hairloss caused by DHT. Is DUPA caused by DHT; such that it will probably be slowed or stopped effectively with finasteride? Are there any other treatments or procedures that will work to treat DUPA? What about body hair transplant?

Bro check your ferritin you may have iron deficiency
Do the oil massage before washing hair.....
Check for hairregrowth with alex on youtube. He cured his dupa with diet and treatment
Beard can be used as a donor site ?
Not in this case. Not enough hairs. Hairs are too coarse and all single hairs so no density and can’t cover front, top, sides, and back issues.
