- This patient was kicked in the eye by a horse and developed a cataract and a tonically dilated pupil to his left eye. We performed cataract surgery and placed a panoptix lens to help him see far/mid and near without glasses, then repaired his pupil (pupilloplasty) using prolene suture.
We show before and after surgery images for comparison.
I have no financial interests in the products discussed in this video.

perfect as usual Dr wong
Please help me with advice on where to start in fixing my eye/eyes . Oct 23 I had cataract surgery in Rhode Island but immediately had complications . Day two it started with corneal edema that lasted 3 weeks with a following complication at day 21 with a fixed dilated pupil in the surgery eye ,also my eye color of hazel -brown on the left is blue . My right eye has a nuclear cataract that has not been touched causing glare ,balance issues and severe motion sickness the suspected diagnosis is Urett Zavalia syndrome . It’s causing me anxiety & isolating myself …I’m afraid that I will lose what sight I have left .
If this Doc isn't the highest paid man on earth, something is very wrong. I wonder if our beloved David Bowie had similar vision problems from his eye with the wrongly sized pupil dilation? (injured in a fist fighting accident).
I guess, the pupil lost the ability to change it's size based on the lighting? (if it even had it after the horse accident)
