Right now , on their current tour! The show I saw a couple of weeks ago was superb, and not just a facsimile! By all accounts, it's been like that throughout the tour!!! Don't get me wrong , Jon and the Geeks are fine , but Yes are nailing it these days!!!!
I've seen Yes several times, and Jon and The Geeks twice now. I've never heard Yes performed better live than with these guys. There's a fire to them, and a reverence and respect.. even love.. in the way they perform..
@@weitzen You jest? J A and the Geeks run rings around Howe's current crew. Chris Clark , 1000% better than Downes,.. same for drummer... and bass player.... just sayin'....
@@1adneumann ....the Geeks are about copying the past while the current Yes are about reinventing and they are doing that brilliantly , no jest!! Being able to just copy does not indicate they are better technically or in any other way! In saying that , looking forward to Jon/Geeks new album!! Let's face it , for many , it doesn't matter how good the current version of Yes have become. For them it will always be a case of "no JA no Yes". Some of us however are moving on!!
@@izzyizborn I got hooked on YES when the Fragile album came out in 1971 and have appreciated Jon's voice ever since. You're right, some older bands drop the key for easier vocals in their advanced years, but not Jon. Gotta love it!
It’s a marvel many rockers still here. Seen the who and Roger waters 2 years ago and they were all great. Happy for Jon-y boy! Going August 10 in Denver !
This was a musical ride through my past!! Anderson sounds GREAT at 79! This band is awesome !! Just what Jon needed to keep YES music alive! Steve Howe is awesome, but that bands singer is NOT Jon Anderson. This is the closest thing to YES that you are going to get!! I'm 65 years old and have been listening to this music my whole life. I've seen Jon with Yes and other performers at lest 12 or more times and will not miss a show when he comes to the Metropolitan area. THIS BAND ROCKS!!!!!
It's quite simply really. The Steve Howe band performing YES music & more (Asia, GTR, The Buggles,etc..) and Jon Anderson's YES performing the magic he created, with 'new' material in 2024.
Thanks to people like you posting, and Mike the Yes fan, I purchased a seat for thousand Oaks this August!! Thanks! This band is magnifico!! (is it Todd Mobile band?) I cant wait!!
Fantastic! Glad to! And I’m not kidding - my son lives in LA. I bought two tickets to the same show. My wife will be meeting him to go to that show as well!
Why do I have the idea this band has so much more energy on stage then the current Yes? Why they sound more like Yes then the current Yes? I wish they could come to Europe.
Such an incredible performance. Could I ask which device you created this with? Perhaps Samsung? Soooo curious since the quality is beautifully crisp and focused from afar. Anyway gorgeous!!!
I think Yes just wasn't the same after Jon had some health issues, got better, than they would not let him back in the band. Than Chris passed away, out went the energy.
Best thing to happen to the Yes brand since 1972. Simply out of this world~
Pardon my French, but Fuckin' Eh.
When was the last time Yes sounded this good? Fresh, accurate, energetic.

God bless Jon Anderson !!!
I'd go to see this band before Yes!
So nice to hear Yes music played at the tempo it was recorded!
Amazing after all these decades Jon still has his unique awesome voice.
He really hasn't lost a step! And I might be mistaken, but I don't believe they dropped the keys for any song that night! The man still has it!

Anderson and the Geeks were on fire, not to shabby for a dude pushing 80.

@@markstephenlevy Not to mention Keith and Mick.

same for me. I'm 65 . I love music of all genres, but YES are pretty much in my DNA now. My go to music.
Wow...what more can you say.
First song of the tour. Nailed it!
Andy Graziano is one awesome, amazing guitar player.
Excellent! Hope to see them live. I like this more than Steve Howe's yes.
It was a geat show ! The audience was great too. Thanks for sharing this.
What a way to open. Thanks for sharing.

Glad you enjoyed it!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE COME TO THE UK........
And not just London
Scotland please ( though I’d travel ! )
Seeing them at the Ryman in July! Can't wait!
We need you to visit Australia Jon, we're waiting for you, we need someone like you to make the sun shine again in our disgraceful country.

Think about it - the only ORIGINAL member of Yes is in THIS band! How about that for irony!
What a great show. I was there. This recording sounds great, I hope you have more!!
I do not, unfortunately! Storage was/is a concern. I would have liked to set it for the whole show, but I could not. :(

Certainly! I used a Samsung S21+. Thank you for your kind words. So glad you've enjoyed the video!
Sounds off the hook,,like when I first saw them in 1973,,,holy mackerel
