You get very little phys damage in the build so phys damage will not do much. Really yes you are just looking for the 3 notables as you only take one small node so you essentially lose 12% increased damage which is next to nothing

I would say if the gear is similar you are definitely missing something. Easiest way to check is import your gear item by item into my pob and see what difference the dps makes. This will tell you whether the items are similar A lot of times gear may seem similar but some certain stats can make a big difference. The usual since it is precise technique make sure accuracy is higher than life

Hey fuzzy I just switched to slayer from champ and Im having trouble generating endurance charges while in boss fights? Idk if im missing something but any help would be appreciated!
Enduring composure cluster jewel should mean they are pretty much always up as whether from spells or attacks you will be getting hit. You could always just put in an enduring cry for bosses and cast this manually
How did you get 2 passive jewel with enduring composure? Craft it yourself? Asking because on trade (even offline, even in all leagues including standard) there is not a single such jewel, while there are plenty 3 passive ones.
POB is probably you best bet. I am not sure of any better tools. It all depends how specific you need your jewel to be and how good as they get expensive pretty quickly
I've not played this build for a while so not sure. I am assuming it is a combination of less mana cost and reservation nodes and obviously managed leech. I don't ever remember struggling at all with mana
I had pretty junk gear at level 89 I just bought some cheap fractured items and used a few essences. I would think to purchase items simialr to what I had at 89 would be very cheap now

Fuzzy Ducky is the man. Loved your LA Series too. You really dig deep and solve problems. Kudos to you my man! I followed Fubs PoB and physical mitigation is just so weak. Wave 8 Simulacrum was a dead end for me. I might swap from my current full crit to this. Do you think a good weapon with a free prefix for hits cant be evaded would solve alot of stress on the tree? What Pantheons are you running? Bandits: Kill all? Do we need Leap Slam? Whirling Blades or shield charge should work as well right? EDIT: Just figured we would lose precise technique with hits cant be evaded
Any movement skill is fine to use. My sword is really bad there were just not any on the market. I would just look for a T2 Lightning, T2 Cold & T1 Attack speed and craft ele pen. That is really all you need. Also if you do switch do not overlook smite as a buff as it adds a ton of damage.

I skipped enlighten with 1 more skill point on mana mastery 12% RMR. Total spent ~24div i didnt use a single piece of old gear. selling that now. cant wait to test simu. 187k ehp :D
Thank you for this video series, I started with Lacerate Glad, and found it a bit too slow to be fun. I've made the transition into this Slayer variant of LS, I am working on getting the fortify and elemental avoidance implicits and upon comparing i seem to have similar (But worse) items but I seem to be way off in the damage or it seems inconsistent! I do need to quality up my gems but I dont think this would cause the gap in damage! Is there anyway you could take a look at my build and make recommendations?
Gem levels is very important, quality not so much. You also need to keep up your smite buff and make sure you double hit when possible against bosses. Similar but worse can often make a big difference. Not having a watchers eye will be 8% less damage, no attack speed on gloves similar. I probably won't have time to review the POB best thing you can do is put your items into my POB and see where the biggest drop off is
Started with this build and still going as champ at level 96, really loving this so far. Im really into tanky builds which also deal good damage and clear. Im just wondering what you think about Headhunter on this build?
I am not sure it is worth it on a build like this as perseverance gives you so much. I think you can definitely run a HH with lightning strike builds but not sure you would build the rest of the character the same way
Yeah it would work fine you just need to find some cold damage and fire damage either on weapons or jewellery. You may need to take a different tree as the build is non crit so does not naturally apply ignite and shock. The elemental wheel at the bottom of the tree gives you chance to apply ailments
Hey man, I absolutely love your build and am blasting with the slayer version having so much fun. That being said, do you have a discord to ask questions? Problem is alch and go maps are what seems to be my limit, anything else just one shots me like cortex yesterday, I kept dying. Also when farming red altars I sometime get one shotted into orbit, I dont really know what else I can do except upgrading my chest, but I keep having problems with resistances...
I am not on discord very much so probably would not respond in a timely manner. Cortex you can just get unlucky and get awful mods. I do not have higher than 75% res and am doing T17s deathless for the most part. Check that your endurance charges are always up as this is a huge layer of defence. Red altars there is one particular enemy that does a ton of damage when it spawns so if you have clicked some negative altars these can kill you Map mods are also important. If you have something like minus max res and phys as extra this is very dangerous. Add some Exarch mods onto this and you need a very good character to survive.
Cold, Fire or Ele damage with attacks are all about the same. Ele damage with attacks is probably best as it will boost lightning damage more. Cold also gives chill so fire is probably the worst
Not really as a ton of defences and damage come from determination. The build revolves around scaling both grace and determination for more damage & defences. You could swap the belt for something else but you then also lose onslaught
I cannot attack with my Vaal LS, unless I kill someone with smite, how do you make it work? it requires souls or something, I am new to the game. Lvl 83, followed your guide👏🏻
You only use the vaal skill when it has charges. The vaal gem also contains the normal lightning strike so you can put lightning strike as your main skill on your bar and assign another button to the vaal version
@@austinfox7604 I don’t feel it’s a good gem for lightning strike people are just suckered in by hypothetical numbers. It is slightly more single target but everything dies before the projectiles would start returning and you have to drop point blank and lose melee damage. I personally think it’s a waste of a support gem unless you need extra single target damage I also hate the screen cancer it provides and can make it very difficult to see things that might kill you in T17s
Gloves are too important to give up for a unique. You lose attack speed, +1 strike, pierce and most likely accuracy. Rage uptime isn’t really a problem since you only need it on bosses
Im the guy that switched thursday night to the build. Currently level 85 farming memory essences. I was hoping this update was coming. What do you think the lowest level is that you can switch to slayer?
At least 90 and roll fortify on your chest and it saves you getting the fortify on the tree. If you swap too early you will feel squishy or lacking damage as I felt slayer only works really well on a higher level character
I am not sure what you mean this is a no crit build. If you mean a crit version there are lots of people playing crit so POE Ninja should give you an idea

I started as a champion non crit with unique swords and didn't want to have to rebuild all my gear to go crit. I also eventually wanted to use smite as my main skill which you can't do with claws
You can play with mageblood you would drop your tincture for a silver flask, however I'm not sure this build gains that much from mageblood other than a speed boost.
I run inspiration instead of returning proj and have mana cost on helmet. I also take the mana cost nodes on the right of the tree. Never had an issue with lack of mana but you can also craft minus mana cost on rings
Really hard to say. At a guess I would say 6 div for gems, 2 div for jewels (I overpaid for my watchers eye), 6 div for weapons and probably 8 div for the rest. I would guess 25-30 divines
I am hardly going to roll over it though :). You also need to consider each reroll is only 50 lifeforce and armour and evasion mods are pretty common results with exalts with blocking. Anyone paying 50 div for a shield like this is getting royally shafted, especially since it is a poor base type
It might be worth watching the update videos from earlier as this was a build I gradually upgraded from league start so might be difficult to just build from scratch. What is it you are struggling with?

Just craft with alterations it does not take many to hit it

I'm also here because my lacerate glad is too "slow" but I've defeated bosses I've never even seen with other builds

You have Fire on the weapon in addition to Lightning, does it have to be Fire or is Cold damage also possible in addition to Lightning?

Why not use returning proj instead of wed support? its more damage on average and better for clear

What 5 link setup? This is a build that performs well with investment but you wouldn't want to run a 5 link setup

No as I league started as champion then switched to slayer but the same tree should work and should be in the pob for the league start guide

Hi bro I did everything mentioned in the video from jewel to flask but armour didn't reach 17k
There is a lot you must be missing as with flasks and charges up I hit 50k of each armour and evasion

It is a pure lightning build so trinity will not work unfortunately
As long as it is one or the other it should be fine, but I would always recommend cold
Can I use a headhunter instead of this belt and not lose a ton of dps?
Yeah you can use a HH you lose DPS and defences on paper but once you get your buffs up HH will feel good
