Nice review! Numbers, weights , close up of rim, open field shots that let us see flight of the disc, variety of throws and your max throws with them and distance measurements. I have a good idea how they would throw for me even though my max distance shot is about 300 with discs under 165 grams and understable. I’m going with the Gorgon!
I have Gorgons in the 3 different plastics. There's a lot of difference. My Pro is pretty flippy. G* not so much. Proto Star even less and my stock Star isn't really turning yet.
I started with some 171g Pro Gorgons and they are definitely flippy. I have some 160-class Star and 165-class GStar on the way. Was hoping for a touch more flip than my heavier Pro Gorgons, but your review makes me think I should just keep beating up the Pro ones lol
I got a Trail today, threw two throws on the driving range, both around 380-400ft on a rope. Felt confident to bring it into today’s local league and had a few great (and one bad) shot with it there as well. This disc really impressed me, even considering all the hype it has gotten!
@ChasinChains appreciate this comparison! It would be interesting to see the Star/GStar vs the Trail. I'm leaning towards the Trail due to the comparison of it being a 10spd Crave. I will say I was able to check out a Gorgon at a shop and it felt great un hand, just weighed too much for me. Keep up the amazing work.
The flight numbers do seem pretty consistent here. The plastic really matters with Innova. That’s why I carry multiple of the same disc just different plastics cause all I throw is Innova. But these two seemed to fly true to their flight numbers. Also pro plastic always seems like the perfect beginner discs. Way better to learn with than DX. Dx is soooo much different. Throw a champion Valkyrie then a DX. Completely different
Just got the special edition trail! Looking forward to throwing it. Great comparison video. I still haven’t figured the gorgon out yet . Prolly due to my lack of power lol. Great video 👍🏻
My trail is flippy. More so than my Intertia I feel. I have noticed at the store the different colors seemed to have different domes. Yellows were noticeably flatter than the all the red ones. Mine is red, dunno if there's a different in stability like when Simon said different colors of the Timelapses had different stabilities.
The fact that one is flatter than the other is not your opinion, nor is the fact that they feel different. It could be your opinion that one feels better than the other, but facts are facts.
Sorry dawg one thing I know is it’s never going to be perfect, I guess I can add a little caption when it’s not completely flat. It’s just hard to tell sometimes in the moment for me
That was my first thought when I saw the flight numbers on the trail, I wanted to see the comparison to the gorgon.

Great info to know. Thanks
@@GPO_Studioswhat do you think of the Gorgon now ?
I am about to order a gorgon or trail soon.

Good video. Still like to see Gorgon vs Wraith😄
The much better comparison video is the TD from discmania and the Trail.

Of course! Wish I had it in the other plastics!
Innova Pro Shop has some 160-164g Star ones right now if that's light enough for you

That was some NICE flip up on both of those discs in the first throws!

How do you like the trail ?
great review ❤
Too late, I already bought a Star Gorgon. I like it, but I much prefer my Gold Sapphire to both the Gorgon and Trail
interesting seeing the trail flip up i throw with a lot of hyzer but cant flip up the trail.
I think I’d be sad if I got another that didn’t flip. That’s why I like it so much lol

What is your arm speed?
Neutron plastic vs pro is not a comparison. Should've at least used a star gorgon or maybe a fission trail
Pro plastic isn’t ideal to compare to neutron plastic as star would be. Cool vid tho
Great point
+ the weight differences, im concerned if gorgon is that flippy at 175 what it would be like at 171, maybe -3 to -4 range
My gorgon is stupid overstable, was very disappointed with it. Anyone else? Never had a disc problem like I’ve had with the Gorg
Do you still play in Dayton
Yes!
The better Gorgon comparisonwould be the Kastaplast Alva.
Finish Line Era. It came first and is way closer to the Trail.
Well, I already bought the trail before I watched this so too late
You should try a beast 10 5 -2 2
Seeing this as I’m literally filming Gorgon vs beast 😂
Pro plastic invalidates entire comparison.
Maybe, take that sticker off...
I bought both. Lol
Both discs, not even comparable discs. One is dead straight with minimum finish. Gorgons are more understable.

So… buy a Gorgon?
Depends on what flight you're looking for.
youve gotta start watching your vids - at 4 mins thats not even close to flat

@@ChasinChains you do a lot of vids, and really hit all the new releases, so i aprreaciate what you do. just sayin
Innovas plastic is trash. Never waste your money on innova
Appreciate your opinion but no one was asking. Wouldn't have known that you're a fool until you opened your pie hole😂😅😂
😂dumbest comment I’ve heard this month.
Lame😂
