- I Added an Apex Predator to my Terrarium Ecosystem This Happened.
In this video, I create a bioactive terrarium ecosystem for an Apex Predator, which is a coach horse beetle. This vivarium enclosure has a slug infestation and in this video I aim to manage it, through adding new plants, insects and creatures to the vivarium. This video is part 2 of my Paludarium series of videos - in the first part I simulated a terrarium ecosystem for 1 month. Watch as I add an apex predator beetle to my ecosystem and see what happens! This unique DIY Terrarium experiment showcases the impact of introducing a new predator to an established ecosystem.

Hey being a hemaphrodite means that you have male and female reproductive organs, not that they can reproduce asexually. Garden slugs can reproduce asexually, but being hermaphroditic has nothing to do with that.
Yeah I realised that after the video came out, thanks for pointing out though!
this is not the thumbnail i expected :(
My sincerest apologies.

Thank you!
Thank you
I love this video❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊😊
thank you!!
I thought devil's coach horse beetles were more generalists compared to ground beetles that in many cases evolved to kill and eat snails and slugs.
Though every time I see devil's coach horses and ground beetles, the former eats the latter.
hehe yeah I would agree with u there
What about the rukin fish?😢
you might see him again in a future video... 🐠
are their ants in it?
no there aren't any ants in it, that would be a headache haha
@@plantgetenough i would have added one
The thumbnail is a fiery searcher, not a DCH
its a violet ground beetle, which was one of the beetles I added.
@@plantgetenough Sorry, wrote this before watching video
Can you post full video of DCH vs ground beetle?
