On the first day you will reach Gangotri, On the second day you will go from Gangotri to Bhojwasa or Chirbasa. You cannot trek to Gaumukh without Gangotri National Park permission. You will get this permission both online and offline. For permission you must have your Aadhar card. If you want to do Tapovan Yatra along with Gomukh from where Mount Shivling is visible, then it will be necessary for you to have a professional Gangotri guide for that.

India with 30 kms in length and 4 kms in width
first one being Siachen. The Himalayan peaks
visible during this trek are Shivling
