Shark activity closes stretch of Huntington Beach coastline

- After beachgoers brought likely shark activity to the attention of lifeguards in Huntington Beach Sunday, and a beached juvenile whale with bite marks was spotted, officials closed a two mile stretch of Huntington Beach. Chip Yost reports for KTLA 5 News at 3, Nov. 6, 2023.

I can only imagine if humans knew about everything that happens in the oceans and seas. 😂😂😂
If they closed the beach every time a shark attacked another animal, the beaches would be permanently closed
I love how as humans we think we own everything. A shark in the ocean eating is nature. It’s their home. Also way to record the poor animal instead of put it out of its misery or help.

We are studying the what, it looks like it has been attacked, it also looks like there are secondary injuries as well, it does not seem to be doing good out of the water, we will need to study it more, weird it just got worse and we studied it, it sadly it passed, now we will have to do an autopsy to see why we simply just did not put the whale back in the water, stupid right.

So nature was taking it's course and humans freaked out about it. Too many Karens in the world.
Clean up the Pacific Ocean! It's been so dirty for decades.
Look up ocean cleanup. They are actually doing something.
@@genericamerican7574 That's just for plastic. Tar, chemicals, sewer materials, etc. have been dumped into the ocean for decades. I used to get tar on my board shorts just sitting on the beach & that was 30yrs ago. Algal blooms occur bc the water is so dirty. Sea lions are beached by itself due to neurological diseases & left to die. It goes on & on...

Sharks are NOT agressive! Stop misinforming people! Sharks we’re trying to feed. The cycle of life. Survival of the fittest. That’s how ecosystems work! The entire oven is their home, not our home. Leave sharks alone!

Sunset Beach is not LA, we are located in Orange County, part of Huntington Beach nearly 1 hour from LA....just saying. We have beautiful clean water!
