He was in good shape against madrid last week for a guy just coming back from 2 months injured. We barely had time to see Mbappe/Messi/Neymar together this season, but this could get sick. Hope this was his injury of the year as usual and that's he'll be available for the those last few months.

Pelé no Santos não fez um terço do que ney fez, vi os lançes dele e me parece um jogador simples, nada de formidável nele, Ronaldo era matador mas em termos de habilidade, passe e visão de jogo é muito inferior. Só há um que talvez tenha sido igual a ele e superior em alguns quesitos, e é o Ronaldinho Gaúcho.

2 things I really noticed is that in recent seasons he's lost the joy he clearly had while playing during this first season (probably due to how his repeated injuries affected him), and also how underrated his ability to completely break a team's defensive shape with a single pass or dribble. People might only look at his goals and assists, of which he has many, but that ability to blow the pitch wide open is unbelievable. I really think he could've gotten at least 2 UCLs and 1 world cup during his time at PSG if it hadn't been for his injuries.
He doesn't deserve a balon dor, UCL, or world cup. Leave those trophies for players that actually compete in a high level and not a farmer's league.
@@rafaelguasp1141 Neymar is one of the greatest players of all time. he can break down an entire defense with just a few dribbles. Most of the goals that happened, neymar was involved. If its not a goal, its an assist. If its not an assist, its a goal. If its neither, its him breaking down the whole defense which leads to a goal. Saying he doesn't deserve any of those trophies is insane. You need to watch more football.

So when u say "one of the greatest" that's actually a cop out. Theres TONS of "one of the greatest" players all over the place. Neynar had potential to be bigger then ronaldinho and failed. And ronaldinho also didnt reach full potential. Point is, u cant play 4 year of high level and play in a farmer's league the rest if the career and act like hes still the same level as 2015 neymar. Hes not. Even ronaldinho when he was done, he was playing in lower leagues and "break down defense" lol have fun watching neymar dribble around a bunch of cones. That doesnt make u great tho. Sorry. And for those that will use the cope argument "FarMerS LeaGuE", first of all neymar also was the champions league top scorer and assister until he got injured as well, not just in league 1, plus messi strugles in league 1 so, it looks like it is not easy to play good, even in league 1. People should stop trying to undermine individual success by using bs arguments like "the league is easy" etc.

This was the last bits of fitness and discipline after arriving from Barcelona, playing on the best team on the planet at that time he still had the energy from there so he was on another level from the French players. Now with injury and age his form has dropped considerably. He’s almost hazard level unrecognizable now.

Neymar's prime lasted longer than most people think.. He was at his best 2017-2020. I agree that Neymar today has declined hugely but at his absolute prime, Neymar is definitely one of the greatest players of all time and I don't say that lightly. He was near Messi level and definitely above Ronaldo.

Well... while Mbappe certainly learned from Neymar (who was clearly the best of the two at that time) and improved thanks to him, IMO it's a big exaggeration to say he was "just a kid who ran fast". It just takes one to have a look at his games with Monaco to realize he was already much more than that even before he joined PSG. Although he definitely improved in these departments (specially lately), the "kid" had already shown way above average abilities (noticeably great flair, quick decision making and sharp skills, on top of amazing pace) before psg bought him. He actually showed some stagnation on his first couple of years at PSG, but he was already much more than just a speed merchant anyway, when he joined them!
Sure Psg likes to spend huge money, but they certainly didn't put 180 millions on the table just to get a fast kid. They are not ManU spending 80 millions on Maguire either 😂
