- Rev. Chris and his wife Jenny enjoy a private date at a Michelin Star Korean restaurant on the 81st floor of the tallest building in Korea.
Having the chance to bring both Rev. Chris and Jenny to Korea has been amazing, especially seeing Rev. Chris so excited to show all the experiences he loved to his wife, and experience a new culture together! And while it's been so much fun to film together with them and introduce different unique experiences in Korea, we wanted to give them a really special experience this time, without the distraction of having a cameraman in their face, and without being able to just turn to Josh to explain everything - so for this episode we leave them alone.
Just Rev. Chris and Jenny. On a date. In the highest Michelin Star Korean restaurant in the world, overlooking Seoul. (This episode definitely feels a bit different from our average video. Let us know what you think about it!)
크리스 신부님과 신부님 아내 제니가 한국에서 가장 높은 건물의 81층에 있는 미슐랭 스타 한식 레스토랑에서 특별한 데이트를 즐깁니다.
이번 여행에서 크리스 신부님과 제니를 동시에 같이 한국에 모시고 올 수 있어서 정말 기뻤는데요, 특히나 크리스 신부님이 좋아하셨던 경험들을 아내에게 소개해주고 함께 새로운 문화도 경험하면서 즐거워하시는 모습이 정말 보기좋았어요! 근데 물론 두 분과 함께 촬영하는 것도 정말 재밌었지만, 이번에는 뭔가 엄청 특별한 경험을 선물해드리고 싶었어요. 눈 앞에 항상 따라다니는 카메라맨과 옆에서 모든걸 다 설명해주는 조쉬가 없이요! 그래서 이번 에피소드에는 두분만의 시간을 갖도록 자리를 피해드립니다.

J Kim First problem is thinking that hard work = money.
Sure, there are super wealthy people that got there or stayed there through questionable means, but the notion that most or all have done so is false. And at a certain point, it becomes utterly ludicrous, but I think that point is super high.
The difference isn’t just hard work. It’s efficiency and effectiveness. Most high ranking and wealthy people work ~80 hours a week and can do more than 3 people working the same amount of hours. It’s utterly unbelievable how smart some people can be. I mean, can you read 400-500 pages of technical or legal writing in a day, make decisions that affect dozens or even hundreds of people, teach university level classes, be a decent parent, and find time for your hobbies? Chances are probably not because those people are a rare breed. But those are the types of people that make their way to the top. And they like the work load. They thrive on it. And frankly, if those rare people aren’t motivated to do the work (with money), we’d be worse off. Partly because most aren’t as good at their jobs as we think. But mostly because not everyone can handle huge workloads, and it really breaks people. So better to give it to the workaholic. Which most wealthy people are. Don’t let movies and celebrities fool you.

I’m not religious in any way shape or form, but I’d love for him to explain his ideas on life and god to me.
Not gonna lie that it felt like I was intruding on something so intimate but at the same time I was all smiles cause they're just so lovely. I hope to experience such a relationship. Kindly give us tips on how to have healthy relationships and keep them. Not necessarily all romantic, could be platonic as well! I struggle with keeping relationships as I am not very outgoing so the ones I have right now, I'd like to know how to keep.
that is something that you must naturally learn your self as someone elses tips might not work or worse might cause the whole relationship to fall apart you see those types of relationships have to be completely natural and something both of you learn trying to have a cheat sheet to copy from will never allow the relationship to form into a healthy one
This was 2 years ago but I still want to answer. You see, the thing with these kinds of relationships is that you have to find the right person for you, and you have to be the right person for them as well. Friendships, romantic relationships alike. You need to have the same code, the same love language. Relationships are a 2 way street, and you always need to be meeting in the middle.

@downthispath you don't need the same love language but to take the time to understand what your person's love language is. Taking the time to truly understand them is huge, the huge cliche of communication is the main factor.

달콤한 영상 잘 봤습니다. 특히 대화 내용 중에 "억만 장자면 당연히 세상도 바꿀거야,
왜냐면 내 생각엔, 억만장자라면 그럴의무가 있잖아. 책임이 있지." 이부분이 정말 와닿고 두분 정말 훌륭한 마인드를 가지고 계시네요.

흙수저 평범한 직딩이지만 일년에 딱 한번.. 부모님 결혼기념일에는 분위기좀 내시라고 쫌 고급진 레스토랑으로 예약해드리는데 처음엔 극구 사양하고 안가겠다고 버티시다가도 취소 안된다고 환불 안된다고 그러면 결국 다녀오세여 ㅋㅋ 신기한건 다녀오시면 아버지보다 어머님이 매우 즐거워하시더라구요.
자식으로써 뿌듯하기도 하고 그리고 더 열심히 돈 벌어서 더 좋은데 모시고싶은 욕심도 있고..

이런말 하는것도 아니지만. 영국인들은 자기 나라 음식을 맛없다고 생각해서 은근 세계 음식을 즐겨먹는 편이에요. 평소에 아시아 음식 즐겨드시는듯.
얼마나 맛없다고 생각하냐면 영국 대표 음식은 피시앤칩스가 마니아층음식이라 생각함.
젓가락으로 밥 떠먹는걸 보면 일식이나 중식 경험이 다분한것같더군요.
한국음식은 밥을 보통 젓가락이 아니라 숟가락으로 먹는거라서.
물론 젓가락으로 못먹는건 아니지만.
전 오히려 밥 먹을때 젖가락만 쓰는데요?

저기 있는 갓텐스시도 가성비가 좋은편이죠.
근데 저긴 안가봤는데 일반적으로 저기 윗층들에 있는 레스토랑은 좀 별로였어요.
전망대 가봤는데 비싸요 일반 적인게 성인이 27000이고요 패스트 패스라고 빨리 올라가는게 있는데 5만원이에요
전망은 그닥;; 빌라만 뭉쳐져있고 볼껀 별로없음;;
야경 전망이면 모르겠는데 낮은 진짜 별로네요 ㅋㅋ
우왓 관찰예능 형식의 이런 영상도 정말 괜찮은 거 같아요 😎😎기분이 어떤 지 맛은 어땠는지 좀 더 솔직하고 진솔하게 볼 수도 있고, 카메라 구도도 정말 좋고..!😍😍 제가 알기론 저기 엄청 비싼 곳으로 아는데 영상을 위해 아낌없이 투자하는 영국남자!! 정말 멋있고 영상 재밌게 잘 봤습니다 ♥♥ :)

Every time I see Jenny speaking Korean, I'm simply amazed at how good her pronunciation is. She easily picks up new words and applies them well, actually far better than Chris and Ollie.
What an absolute treat! Glad that Jenny and Rev. Chris had some time to themselves during a meal, especially a Michelin-starred one at that! Felt like I was watching part of a beautiful love story on the telly but much better because it’s real life.
I missed the usual commentary and explanation that Josh gives while everyone enjoys the food, but it’s a very sweet gesture to give Jenny and Rev. Chris a nice date at a very fancy restaurant. Looking forward to the supermarket episode! 😊
