Thank you for your creativity and kindness to share with us this video. It is very soothing and relaxing to watch this and get an uplifting feeling that everything we experience shall pass, and even the bad time will become the past of time. As someone who has been struggling with work and I don't enjoy doing any more and accumulating stress, I come to your channel and feel moved. I feel inspired to make something out of my life and change the circumstances. Thank you and wishing you the best on your journey :)
Jay, seeing you walk showed me how much your hurting. I know when I get cramps how that hurts. I hope your leg is recovering. Shaws looks awesome. Thanks to those people who gave Tina and you a ride back to Shaws. 🙂
Hoping your ankle holds up with a full pack. Maybe stopping at cold streams and soaking it might help with that swelling. Stay safe y'all. For sure y'all are already strong. Thank you for taking us along on this epic journey 🙏🙏🙏🥾🥾❤️🥾🥾❤️💪👏👍✌️☕
Hi Jay and Tina! Tina you have a great smile!! 😊 You did really well today Jay! I know that cold water felt so good! 😊 your almost there! Stay safe and take your time with that leg! Good luck & Hike On!! 🏕🏔💪🇺🇸🥾🧗♀️👏👏👏
That hostel looks amazing, what is it called and where please? Did I spot Trailhead Justin at the beginning walking passed you? That breakfast looked amazing omg, I nearly could smell it lol ... the kitchen looks pretty professional, wow! Beautiful property, great people to open it up for hikers! You limping away the whole 16 miles you walked, is painful to watch... I do hope though that when fording a ice cold river, that this helps with your swelling a little! 99 miles to go WOW seems so near but so far when you have pain, sending you good vibes!
You sure were hobbling when you said “I’m alright.” It did not look good, looked painful. Nice to hear at the end of the day that you said it wasn’t too bad. Happy Trails Nice Timelapse 👍
You're showing incredible fortitude getting through this stage Jay. Maine shows no mercy to the injured. Tina is so inspirational as well with how she carries herself. For your body to endure so much pain - I had shin splints running cross country back in high school - and continue through the ups and downs with such strength and agility is incredible. Thank you so much for the journey. I'm really looking forward to the remaining few days you have left.
Take care of your leg, so you will be able to summit Katahdin. I bet the cold water felt good; you can stop, take a break and soak it if you find cold water sources. I am sure Tina is cautioning you. Y'all are so close. Go Tina and Jay Go.
Remember, do not slap your toes down when you walk. Every time you slap your toes it jars, specially, the muscle that attaches and runs directly up your shins. Over time that turns into injury that is called shin splints. Roll your feet, heel - toe, smooth roll. Do not slap your feet. Kentucky
Yum, I could almost smell the aroma of that breakfast! Hello to you both, Jay/Tina. Wow 99.2 what an amazing journey … stay safe and hope your ankle is on amends, Jay! 🥾⛺️✌🏼😊
The panning of the Shaw buildings was pretty cool too, one guy is standing there, camera turns right but he walks off camera to the right then a guy comes out of the building that's directly in the midde walks off to the left of the camera almost like to was staged. 0:25
Wow seems like only yesterday I found your channel and started following your journey and you are at the 100mw.... Good luck on the final stretch. Keep your leg strapped. You got this!
My wife feels your pain...she had a total knee replacement last September...she's going to have surgery again to replace all the parts that were inserted from the first surgery !
You saying "I'm alright " sure didn't look alright. Looked a lot more like some pain in the step with the left leg. on the lighter side , at the 9:01 mark in the background by the rivers edge. My favorite camp , water and goofing off shoes on that hikers feet.
Would love to see a picture of your "hitch hiking towel." Do you always carry it with you and, if so, does it serve double duty as a general purpose camp towel?
I'm a little perplexed, why don't you carry clogs/ water shoes/ camp shoes? So practical to put them on at water crossings, and save the shoes and wet foot hiking. Again lm just inquiring. Sorry I meant to say Crocs.
Every year seems more and more clear that "the 100 mile wilderness" is truly a pronoun. Good in a way, not as good in other ways I guess for someone wanting a more truly "wild" trek. I think I'd prefer the option of a food drop!

That breakfast at Shaw’s looks amazing. There is something about slackpacking the 100 mile wilderness.

I'm so glad you're able to continue on. Love the videos and appreciate you sharing with all of us. Blessings to you both.
Happy hiking!
Good update on your leg.
You two have got this!

Super glad you’re leg is doing better Jay!
Good video, with some good beautiful views, nice water falls, some bad water crossing, so let's keep on hiking..
Love the cinematography of the coffe bar. Glad your ankle is feeling better! Onward sir!!

Shaws is great. Poet makes a fabulous breakfast too.
Be safe…glad to see/hear that the ankle may be improving…hike safe!
Woohoo! Under 100 miles to go! 😀🌄🏕
I had to wait to watch your final miles , will miss this so much😢
That freezing water helped for sure.
Wow seems like only yesterday I found your channel and started following your journey and you are at the 100mw.... Good luck on the final stretch. Keep your leg strapped. You got this!
Go POCKET 🚀 ROCKET!!!
The limp is noticeable but it’s great to see you pushing to continue. Good luck on the next and final part of your journey!
Shaw’s looks awesome!
My wife feels your pain...she had a total knee replacement last September...she's going to have surgery again to replace all the parts that were inserted from the first surgery !
GO JAY AND TINA, 15 miles impressive limping along
Glad your feeling better. Hike on. The end is close.
Glad your ankle was improving!
So funny how Jay hikes faster when Pocket Rocket answers that yes, she’s filming😂. Get well soon Jay!

A well known retired football coach from FSU once told me that walking on a sprained ankle makes it heal faster because it gets more oxygen.
That one day I hiked with you for 3 minutes! I told you you'd leave me in the dust!! ✌️
Would love to see a picture of your "hitch hiking towel." Do you always carry it with you and, if so, does it serve double duty as a general purpose camp towel?
👋🏻
What exactly is slack packing, you have me confused not hard to do
I bet that cold water helped with the swelling.
You got this, just go nice and easy 99 2go
Nice time lapse
👆🏻👍
By the looks of Tina’s pack it doesn’t look like she doing much slack packing ☺️
👏👏😮😮🙌🙌👍👍✋✋😊😊
You look really painful going down that hill! Yikes!!!
I'm a little perplexed, why don't you carry clogs/ water shoes/ camp shoes? So practical to put them on at water crossings, and save the shoes and wet foot hiking. Again lm just inquiring. Sorry I meant to say Crocs.
Crocs are much heavier than the camp sandals I have. Just weight. I didn't have to ford any rivers until Maine.
Had to feel good not carrying the camera
If I guess correctly, you won’t be climbing Katahdin?
You're guessing incorrectly. You can't hike the entire AT and not Katahdin.
