There is a real big difference between the catheters. Do you want backup or a hydrophilic coating ? Must it be strong or flexible ? Does the innerlumen stay as it is in tortuous/ calcified vessels ? Is it strong and torqueable ? Can you inject fluids or coils with it ? Can you pull or push it easily? Is the innerlumen smooth ? Can you see it under X-ray ? Small or big vessel ? Does it kink ? Get the right tool for the right procedure.
