When you use the easy lube fittings, make sure you have the wheel jacked up off the ground and spin the tire while you're pumping the greese. If you dont, that'll cause you to blow the seal.
In reference to around 7:00, it does grease both bearings. It pumps grease thru the inner bearing and then start moving foreword and it will push grease thru the outer bearing. This pushes all the old grease out the cap and fresh grease is now in the bearings. I don't know where you're located but in White Pigeon, MI is Johnson's Surplus. They have EVERYTHING you need at fantastic prices.
How many miles do you think are on those bearings? I'm considering going with the Kauffman low profile 3/4 car tandem trailer. It has the dual 10K axles which will have stronger brakes and bearings than the 7k axles.
I’m not sure how many miles they have, I do grease them when needed. I highly recommend it, low profile trailers are easy to strap. You don’t have to worry about your height.

Good information, I’ll keep that in mind thank you!!
Good idea for a sun blocker
Hey man I’m from Sacramento and I have the same trailer for 4 years. Nice and smooth if you keeping eyes on it.
Yes I agree.
Did you get auto-adjust brakes as replacement? They save you a lot of hassle, and cost about $8 additional each.
No but I should have, I ordered the original. Next time I will for sure.
One of the best trailer videos I’ve seen thus far!
Thank you!!
@@riosautotransportllc you’re welcome!
Great info💪💯
Thank you 925 All Access Logistics!
Go ahead replace with Timken bearings

Thank you!! I’ll keep that in mind for new bearings, these are old and worn. I ordered everything from Kaufman directly.

How many miles did you get out of the brakes? Could you have gotten those drums turned? Thanks. Great video.
Thank you. I got about 80k miles, the drums were too far gone to get turned.
If i were you i would buy the whole backing plates not the parts!
Yes I ordered complete set.
What size are those equalizers? I need to replace mine
I ordered mine directly from Kaufman, I called 336.790.6800 gave them my Vin number, they said not all years use the same equalizers.
If one of your equalizer is touching the frame would that be an issue?
The equilateral should be free from the frame unless you have a very heavy load. If you have a week equalizer it can hit the frame.
@@riosautotransportllc guess i need to replace one because it touches with no load
I have a question can you fit 2 amazon vans on this trailer?
Yes you can but it is pushing it.
I meant height wise but yea right now i have a 2 car 36' and can only carry 1 there 22' and 9' high
@@bobthebuilder1980 I’ve never done it myself but I know someone in California that has.
How often do you check it
Equalizers once a month, drums twice a year (I have new brakes). On the dodge once or twice a month.
You might as well convert to disk brakes 🤷🏽♂️
I would switch if I was keeping trailer long term.
