- Après une longue journée de marche dans les rues de Nantes, les chemins de la Grand-mère et du Petit Géant se sont enfin croisés ce samedi soir sur la place de la Petite Hollande. Rencontre intergénérationnelle en rythme !

Hello I’m American my granddaughter love watching this show in fact, she liked it so much that I decided to sit down and watch with her. I couldn’t help but notice the difference in interest the crowd had between the black boy and the grandmother! I don’t speak your language and neither does my granddaughter but she said something that saddened me, “she asked me why hardly no one clapped for the black boy?” I simply said to her, “ I don’t know, but we can!!!! So we clapped joyously together. I know why that was, I just really wish this wasn’t the case.... I also told her that sometimes you can do all the right things and no one will clap for you or say you did a great job.... so that’s why you have to always be proud of yourself and most importantly..... clap for yourself even when others won’t! And then we changed what we we’re watching!
This is repeated show with always the same motive: two big puppets meet, typically members of one family and the crowd is happy. So the first was a seaworker with his dauther. Later it was used as a celebration of unification of Germany, where a boy and girl met in the center of Berlin. But this one is quite strange. It just reminds illegal african imigration to old Europe which is not much wellcome. So people liked huge puppets as always, but did not like that message propagated by progresive libtards.
The babies notice everything. I love your response to your daughter. I also saw this and found it strange but hoping for more positive insight. Thanks @Marek for the explanation but I still want more understanding for this.
I truly love all of these puppets & their hard-working puppeteers! Amazing & quite heart-warming! Melts my heart.

Franchement les géants manque beaucoup moi je suis allé les voir c'était heureuse de ce géant spectacle de rue c'était merveilleux et comme on peut pas bouger avec le covide heureusement qu'il y a encore les vidéos sur le net je suis ravi de les retrouver mais en vrai ce sera encore mieux si vous faites des excellent travail un excellent travail
