It's always in the twists where these 2600 games get to show off their value over the original arcade versions. Even if this feels as awkward as it does.
Atari Logbook challenge: Play game 2 on difficulty A: Green Logbook (1979): Pro: 60-76 Master: 77-90 (probably should be -89) Wizard: 90-99 Blue Logbook (1982): Daredevil Diver: 75 Chutist First Class: 85 Paratrooper: 95 I never got this game, and didn't want it, but if I had seen it at the thrift store for $1 I would have. Still, it looks so primitive that it should have been retired in 1981 to stop taking up catalog and shelf space and making the system look bad. It was a surprise to me that Atari games from the 1970s were based on arcade games; but this means they were playtested in the real world with quarters. I guess they weren't sued for porting games that weren't theirs?
Sometimes I imagine your wife's actual reactions to these games that she finds frustrating or as in this case "Stupid". I feel like you should record her reactions and play them back during your playthroughs you could have a Sonny & Cher type of thing going. Sorry, showing my age there with that reference. I don't even try to get my wife to play any old 2600 games...I can barely get her to play the old MAME classics on my Raspberry Pi, much less 4K VCS games. There are much worse games for the 2600 than Sky Diver though!

Your good lady should have turned the joystick upside down :)
Oh god why didn't we think of that? Hahaha. If we ever play this together again (I suspect that won't happen!) I'll suggest it :)
