Rip to victims of air collision
So upsetting💔
GOD BLESS THERE SOULS ✨✨✨
Very sad indeed😢
🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Have landed at Reagan Nat’l many times & I count my blessings every day. Still, marvel at how those big aircraft navigate such narrow landing strips. To add military choppers into the equation is waiting for a tragedy to happen. No one should be in training over that tiny air corridor‼️🆗💯👿👇
Morning News NOW Full Broadcast - January 30
I had no idea a book like The Censored Guide to Wealth on Bovolorus even existed it’s like a hidden treasure
So sad Can't Believe this happened .
All trumps fault
Trump is at fault? The only ones at "fault" are the pilots.
What a dumb comment.
I wonder who were the passengers on these aircrafts 🤔🤨. May they rest though, prayers to their families.
The helicopter is at fault. He clearly was flying VFR (visual flight rules) and had acknowledged seeing the traffic. He was instructed to pass behind. He hit the aircraft anyway. My guess is he saw the wrong aircraft since it was at night. How to fix it? Discontinue the use of visual separation in controlled airspace at night and use more specificity in the issuance of traffic. Military also needs to use VHF while transitioning through certain types of airspace.
There are no excuses for what happened
Who was piloting the Black Hawk helicopter? Could this be a terrorist attack?
GREAT REPORTING THANK YOU?
It is indecent and inappropriate for a president to scold anybody at a tragical time like this. Trump is far from up to his presidency. Sad.
When does it become untragic?
"Indecent and inappropriate... at a tragical (sic) time like this?" Where do I find the list of tragic (tragical?) times where it IS decent and appropriate? I'm only asking because I've watched every modern president almost immediately scold various people after every single mass shooting of the last 30+ years- and usually the scolded weren't even involved with the tragedy in question. Or is it only indecent and inappropriate when the CURRENT president does it? (And no, I didn't vote for the guy, so don't try that one).
look out
What was the control tower doing ?
It’s the chopper crashing into the plane not the other way around.
Where is the coordination between civil and military air traffic controls
RIP to all who died in this avoidable tragic event! The passenger aircraft definitely have the right of way! All the time! 1. Check backgrounds of the 3 military personnel in the chopper 2. Check lapses done by the air traffic controller , their work hours or if their napping, etc.... That's it, it's either between them are at fault!
We all knew this was going to happen. More and more collision will shall happen. No airport
No one could violate civil air space in an airport
How were both aircraft even in the same airspace? I thought they had rules and regulations to stop this from ever happening?
Where is the flight planning control between civil and the military
Wait?! What?! Trump actually made a statement that was both sincere and respectful, and logical?! Holy crap! There may be hope for him at last.
Prevention is to stop flying helicopters at a busy airport
Hmm... Not sure if I want my pilots to put all their skills test when I am on the plane...😟
So much pain those helicopters have brought to other countries(as far as I’m concerned they don’t use them to delivery medicines books or food) now.. touching their own* grounds.. sad indeed.
I believe it’s completely obvious that the Blackhawk helicopter collided with the commuter jet. How did many of these news agencies get it so wrong? 🤪
I have a feeling the Helicopter was at fault because the flight ✈️ crew and passengers in the jet plane were coming in to land. Also God bless to all no matter who was at fault 🙏🙏
🙏🙏🙏🙏
Hi
NTSB needs to set up a catch net across the Potomac, down river from the site where both the CRJ and the Blackhawk chopper entered the water, in order to catch any remains or debris from the crash.
This exactly what Started Wars in the Past 😢
Name one incident where a collision between a US helicopter and a US jet over US soil has started a war. I can't even, with some of the ludicrous comments here.
❤
No news other than the plane crash?
It's a breaking news story just about the accident...duh! Of course, it's only about the accident. That's the point!
What was a military helicopter doing in that space?
I hate to say it, but it looks like the helicopter pilot committed suicide, and unfortunately took the lives of many others.
God have them all in heaven🙏
How can air traffic collided? Use common sense pilots
does this symbolize dwight eisenhower just bu fu'd reagan? just wondering...if any saturday night live alumni is on it
well, not on the plane, but on the butt
Sad news, yes but there are other things going on in the world besides this one thing. I swear, you have one major breaking thing and that's all you talk about. You act like nothing else is going on in the world.
Withdrawal of DEI employees might have over taxed a skeleton crew in the tower. How tragic this outcome.
Funny, there has been zero reports of DEI employee withdrawals at this airport, and zero reports that the tower was operating a skeleton crew. Are you just making things up?
A prominent Russian figure skating and future Olympians and their Mom's!?????😢
News is always, "breaking." Stop using that STUPID word!
Military has its own flight controllers monitoring everything in that area that supercede civilian. Cmon that close to the White House.
....
Uh uh it's cause the civilian flight controller is a DEI hire.
Uh...FAA isn't white enough.
...
Deepest sympathies truly. 🙏
We're so cooked these 4 years with Trump in the office
Trump can be accused of A LOT of things over the last week and a half, but this incident isn't one of them. Can we please respect the victims and their families without needlessly bringing the buffon-in-chief into it?
Lies lies lies
First
THAT THEY COMING BY WHAT YOU DONE AMERICA TO ALL COUNTRY'S EUROPE, ASIA,BALKAN,EMIRATE AND ALL OF TO THE WORLD. GOODNESS IS NOT NEGOCIATE ANYMORE TO YOU AMERICA GOOD LUCK AMERICA TO THE HE'LL
So sorry to the victims and families.
In the first place, it’s dangerous to
train military helicopters at so busy airport. Trump should stop such a reckless trainings. Otherwise,
You will repeat another tragedy. Common sense only. 🇺🇸🥲
