    Nice video! I have the same red bike light as you. The only issue I’ve encountered is that it automatically starts in flashing mode and doesn’t stay on steady. I prefer a constant light due to the ‘moth effect,’ where flashing lights can subconsciously attract drivers towards you, increasing accident risks. Interestingly, some countries even ban flashing bike lights for this reason, prioritizing steady illumination for clearer visibility. Just a thought I wanted to share. Keep up the great content!

    Great video! I watched and read several other creators reviews and posts and you are the only one that mentioned charging details and showed the port!

    Well...
    I have a SWFT Zip moped-style E-Bike (which doesn't have a seat post).
    So I had to improvise, and make another way to get the device installed on my E-Bike...

    I had one of these and they are one of the best bike lights ive had but my blinker control mount eventually cracked since I put too much tension on the screws during installation. Another problem I had was that when I took out the blinker itself to charge it, when I put it back in that slot it wouldnt go all the way in and never "clicked". It fell of my bike multiple times until I had to put it up due to those issues. Though, it was a good blinker compared to my old 15$ one that was junk!

      Turn Signal sound.. can that all be turned off?

    • @Zhippy
      @Zhippy Год назад

      @@bigb69ti Not that I know, and why would you want to?
      The sound guarantees that you don't forget about it and keep biking down the road constantly indicating one way or the other.

    Thanks for the video. You did not address the removal to charge it, also did not show the braking, turn signal while in blink or other mode. To demonstrate an alarm you really should have sounded it for a few seconds.

    Who is the actual producer and where is their user manual?

    It would definitely be better if you could mount it to the rack or the basket of a trike. They really should consider it

      @MikeMu  2 месяца назад

      They have released different mount option that does work for racks and baskets. I have it on a different bike with rack.

    That's the only thing it sucks about this blinker system is if you've got a bag on a back rack it's gonna be really hard to use how is anybody going to be able to see the blinker if the bag is blocking it I wish it had a better mounting system You know what I did with mine that work really well is ideas velcrode the light to the top of my bag in the back it will not come off and by doing that you will be able to see it really well and I'll tell you for the money with the alarm the blinkers and everything this does it is well worth the money as far as being safe out there on the road I did buy 2 of these and I got one where I had to open up The controller on the bar because the battery was dead that kind of disappointed me it being a brand new product and they send it to you with dead batteries but I replace the battery in it and it works great so other than that and I guess that's a good learning experience on what you have to do to open it up to replace the battery on the control panel for the handle bar but like I say other than that it works great I'm really happy with the product

      That's my main problem with this. But at least the alarm function still works. I hope they have better mounting options in the future.

    This is my first time making a comment on here however I have the same item and on the box it says it supposed to be a smart tail light so when I installed it onto my scooter bike and was riding around the city automatically my signal lights doesn’t automatically turn left or right when I’m turning left or right so how is it supposed to be a smart tail light?

    • @MikeMu
      @MikeMu  5 месяцев назад

      Maybe a different model. Mine doesn’t do that either. Some are brake light sensing. I guess they have a different definition of smart. Mine is dumb until I press buttons on remote.

    Hello, do you know of one with the same features but not for the seat tube? I have an ebike and it has a flat surface where it has the tail light currently.

      I have not found one that works without some modifications or additional parts - custom or 3d printed or jury rigged somehow.

    Вроде ещё есть какая-то другая возможность крепления За само сиденье если на подседельном штыре нет места И там уже что-то прикреплено. Где бы узнать про это подробнее? Не могу прикрепить

    • @MikeMu
      @MikeMu  11 месяцев назад +1

      Unfortunately this version was designed for the seat post only. There are other bike alarms available for mounting elsewhere though. I too wish there were other mounts for this specific light. A 3D printed mount could work, but it has to be designed.

      @@MikeMu How wide is the unit around the flat sections of the back of the casing? If I could drill holes for two bolts 80mm width, I could use my existing tail light mount point on my rack. I did find an amazon reviewer who used half of the seat post bracket and must have drilled matching width holes on his cargo rack where a reflector was.

    I want to get one but be able to connect the USB to my 4 pin connector for my stock brake light. I wish there was a tutorial for that. But I also have my brake light mounted to my rear bike rack so that's also annoying.

    • @johnjames5712
      @johnjames5712 Год назад

      not sure if that would work. being that when its plugged into usb to charge it cant be operated and the lights just blink and work sort of like a power bar to tell you how far along it is on the charge.

    Hey Bud I got a question for you when you're charging this up how do you know when it is fully charged does it's continuously keep blinking across or when it is fully charged does it quit blinking

    • @MikeMu
      @MikeMu  Год назад +1

      Yes, it does quit blinking. It takes a long while though as it charges pretty slow. Good thing is the batteries last enough that I don't charge it too frequently (YMMV).
