What are the PC specs you guys are using for the Kalki film? because we want to know what kind of machine we would require for such heavy work, please share all details.
Blender(Nadim) : 64 GB ram, GPU RTX 2060 Super 8GB, CPU : Ryzen 7 3700x. for render we have used render farm called "Garage Farm". Comp(Noaman) : 64 GB ram, GPU : RTX 2060 6GB, CPU : Ryzen 5 3600x. and all other artists have above and same specs like RTX 3050 and RTX 2070 super etc.
basically we are providing separate alpha channel for all elements used in compositing to Colorist (DI artist) for final color grading(DI). its very helpful to di artist for separate control on all elements.
