Thanks for awesome tips about blossom end riots!! Sorry that happened to your watermelons and cantaloupe but there is always next time. Hope you have a blessed weekend
Hello Angela!👋 So sorry about your watermelon patch. 😔 I didn't know we can get blossom end rot on melons and cucumbers. I put powdered milk in the hole when I plant my tomatoes and peppers...seems to do the trick on providing calcium. Also one year (before adding milk at planting) I got blossom end rot on a tomato plant...I mixed a glass of powder milk and pour it at the base...it got rid of the end rot.🙂 I'm back in my garden full time now.🙂
Oh that is a great suggestion. I didn't think of powdered milk. Thank you so much! Praise God you are back in the garden. I am rejoicing with you! Thank you Father!
Thank you Angela very informative video on blossom end rot and the remedies to repair the soil. I never knew watermelons could get it but thinking back on some of the small melons I grew that died they did have it I just summed it up to inconsistent watering and extreme heat.🌱💚🍉
We have had a few melons with blossom end rot, too. But we also have a few grow to maturity. I think our calcium deficiency came from inconsistent watering. Thank you for sharing some remedies 💚👍🏾💚
Lots a of really great info ! I like to mix lime in a 5 gallon bucket of water and mix it well and give it the plants that way . I hope you have a great weekend !
I appreciate you sharing your knowledge; thank you. I did not know that about melons, cucumbers or green peppers. I thought it was potatoes only. Be well and be safe. Peace
That to bad about your Watermelon. I use tums when I have problems. I put it in a plastic bag use something to crush it up add a gallon of water and good to go. Have a blessed weekend my friend :-):-):-)
@@angelasbusybeesgardenandho4627 I missed the watermelons they sale on the side of the road this year and to buy from the grocery store is like an abomination to me. So unfortunately, no watermelon for me this year. I will try some of the tips for next year, Elohim willing.
