Thanks again Christian. I love your creative use of masking. I am always learning new ways of doing things. It was also nice to see your inclusion of NIK in this edit. That was very helpful. Much appreciated.
Brilliant Christian 👍. I've had quite a few goes myself at adding depth, and you've opened my eyes to a few more techniques. Always an education when watching your content. Many thanks👍
As usual, Christian, absolutely marvellous!! I learn so much about editing from your videos. You make me think back to the greats of photography editing/printing of the last century ❤👍. So encouraging...! I used basic b&w dodge and burn in my printing from the 70's...but this is another level😮 ❤👍 Perhaps you could inform us more about the Nik collection? How to get it in Lightroom and it's basic uses 👍
Very nice tutorial! You gave me good idea how to correct masks in lightroom mobile. I have question for you. How do you decide what you want to emphasize with masks? Do you have any general rule?
Thanks for the comment! I usually try to lead the viewers eyes through the image with the help of masking. Uusually I try to slightly darken the outer areas to focus on the subject. The subject itself should stand out so I use masks to emphasize contrast on the subject (like in this case by creating more dramatic light). But all in all I dont have a general rule, I just try different things and see what looks good afterwards :-)
Christian, I have a question of Nik Collection, I couldn’t find it , if I make a downloadable version of it, then in what safe website could I get it? My great thanks to you!
Thanks for sharing, great job!
