- Offline NT Password & Registry Editor is a small Windows password removal utility that can run from a CD or USB drive.
* Supports all Windows from NT3.5 to Win8.1, also 64 bit and also the Server versions (like 2003, 2008, 2012).
* You do not need to know the old password to set a new one.
* It works offline, that is, you have to shutdown your computer and boot off a CD or USB disk to do the password reset.
* Will detect and offer to unlock locked or disabled out user accounts!
* There is also a registry editor and other registry utilities that works under linux/unix, and can be used for other things than password editing. Хобби
Latest Windows 11 in july 2024, still working.
Can't believe this worked in 2022. I forgot the password to my laptop twelve years ago, my family were all mad at me. Well who's laughing now!?
Does the thumb drive need to be set as primary or logical?
Remove disks or other media. Press any key to restart. What i need to do

Doesnt work sadly. I can get it to boot on the USB with other tools, but not this one.
I did this but can't get my laptop to boot from a usb with Windows 10. I get to the part where it says "use a device" and i click removable device but then it just restarts..
It says on the creator's website, it only works on the following versions:
Supports all Windows from NT3.5 to Win8.1, also 64 bit and also the Server versions (like 2003, 2008, 2012)
