    You should do a slip layer before your second bead as gel will follow gel, makes it easier!

    From beginning to end of the process of removing, how long does it take. You said wait 5 minutes the first time, but as you add acetone and reclip, how long are you waiting? Total removal time?

      @thenailroombygee  Год назад

      I go back to the first finger once I’ve done the 10th and do it probably twice. I’d say 15 mins total removal time xx

    What is the difference between glitterbells and TGB consistency wise, which one do you prefer and why?

    • @thenailroombygee
      @thenailroombygee  7 месяцев назад

      Id say TGB is thicker and Glitterbels is a bit thinner. 100% prefer Glitterbels. It applies like butter it’s just perfect and self levels amazing x

    Hi. Thanks so much for the video! I’m curious. Do you use any sort of base coat before the BIAB? TIA x

    • @thenailroombygee
      @thenailroombygee  2 года назад +1

      Hey lovely! There is no base coat needed with TGB BIABS unless it’s white or clear🥰 xxx

    Hi there,How many times wud u refill before removal and reapply new set of biab??

    • @thenailroombygee
      @thenailroombygee  Год назад

      Hey lovely! It all depends on how the client looks after them! People that don’t need them soaked off sooner but every couple of months to check nail health xxx

    Do I need to remove the tacky layer and file the nails if I´m only doing a strengthening layer and creating apex or before applying gel polish? When I’m doing a strengthening layer with a rubber base I don’t remove the tacky layer and I don’t file nails, I go straight to top coat. Thank you ☺️

    • @thenailroombygee
      @thenailroombygee  Год назад +1

      Hey lovely it’s personal preference completely. I always refine anything before gel application just so I know there’s no dips and it’s all level xx

      @@thenailroombygee Hey thank you for your answer. I’m a French nail artist newbie and I live in France. It’s a shame I don’t see more videos on THB, nails techs and nail artists are raving about Madam Glam. So I was intimidated and I was wondering if I could work with the BIAB. I received the Teddy one yesterday and it’s a dream to work with!! 😊I hate when the rubber base is runny and sink in the cuticule area! With its thick viscosity I don’t have this problem and I have time to work with my liner brush near the cuticules.

    Hi can I ask a question as I usually just do Biab then top coat as I like a Nude but I tried Biab and then a colour and the colour peeled off within a day, so after the Biab application you removed the tacky layer with acetone filed removed again with acetone then applied a top coat before your designs is that instead of a base coat? So the top coat does that then go into the lamp then design as normal and seal again with top coat sorry if this is confusing

    • @thenailroombygee
      @thenailroombygee  2 года назад +1

      Hi lovely, I only apply top coat before design as I find you get a nicer finish and the gel doesn’t seep through any filing lines. If I’m doing a full colour I won’t top coat I’ll just go in straight with the colour. No base coat needed xxx

    Is there a brand you recommend that’s not TGB? I don’t have a nail qualification to purchase from their site, but I do my own nails at home! Normally do gel, but been looking at BIAB

    • @thenailroombygee

      Premier gel is also really good! Unsure if you need a qualification to order from them though - and Kiki London 🥰

      Hope it's ok for me to answer this. I don't have a qualification either but love doing my own nails and have learned so much from great videos like this. Been using a couple of different brands and just recently started using builder gel by Madam Glam and can confirm that you don't need a qualification to buy from them. Hope this helps x

    When we don't ever use an e-file how are we supposed to remove gel on top of builder gel?! or do I just have to get e-file trained

    • @thenailroombygee
      @thenailroombygee  2 года назад

      Hey lovely! If I don’t use an efile i take off the top layer with a hand file and then soak a lint free wipe in acetone and pop a soak off clip on and it just takes the top layer off🥰xxx

    can someone tell me why after doing my biab nails. as weeks go on, the nail as a whole looks good but my free edge is weird.. it’s like the biab stuff itself is “fading” and i can feel my real nail a little bit!? idk it’s weird to explain unfortunately 😢
