I really need something like this but i only need this particular use of it... i mean... i really wish it would be a simple tool to translate RGB values to control curves or midi and that's it ! but this seems the closest way i've found at the moment, it's so exciting to watch and i hope i can manage to try it ! (never used Touchdesigner before, i'm more into music and after effects/nuke) thank you !!
Another great video , and so well explained in great English .. please don’t apologise.. the midi tools on ableton are great , with random stuff coming in you could make it sound more musical if you added a scaler midi plugin before the arp , and also a chord plugin inbetween them both .. that way it would stay in one key , you could duplicate that track and turn or the arp , then maybe add a pitch and drop that an octave , it might sound better if you made the notes less say every bar .. I’d love to get my my head round it , so I could try it , coming from a musical back ground , the software your using looks a little daunting.. but the idea of having a camera on someone dancing and that generating music is amazing .. so inspirational ..thanks for sharing
Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated. I know, it looks daunting at first, but I can assure you it's much more intuitive than in looks. Besides, it has a free version. You should try it!
Hey man thank you so much for the tutorial, its brilliant. I'm having trouble with one thing, i think im missing something obvious. I have the connection made between td and ableton, i can hear and see the midi track play, but i cant actually see the notes on ableton, if i press record although the midi is playing but its an empty recording. I would appreciate some help! Thanks again.

@@uisato_ Muchas gracias! Logré bajar todo y conectar. Pero aun veo errores en la conexión. Los Bas en TD me aparecen con una x roja y cuando cambio el video, no hay cambio en la melodía resultante. Alguna idea de qué estoy haciendo mal? jajaja saludos :)

Brilliant video again , try using the midi tools , the scaler before the arp and maybe the chord between the scaler and the arp , if you then set

@@uisato_ Alguna idea porque tengo ciertos plugins missing? VST3 y VST2 por ejemplo
