Love the giant golden jingles, made out of balloons and black paint. It is Creative and utterly brilliant and simple. Perfect for a minimalist and an environmentalist like me. Nevertheless, your array of projects provide tips for every lifestyle and taste. Thank you.
Lots of great ideas! Just one suggestion. When using the tomato cage, use a tie wrap not a rubber band because the rubber band will eventually harden and break apart.
These are all fantastic. I wish I was half as creative as y'all are. As i was watching some come to fruition, I was baffled thinking What is this going to be - then presto - jingle bells or nutcracker men out of mini plant pots,. So many wonderfully creative ideas. For me to attempt to be creative, I would need to : stop / play /pause/ repeat / each activity to work out how to do it. 😂 But i know i would enjoy it too. Thanks. Keep making more 🎉🎉🇦🇺
OMG EACH and EVERY project are SIMPLY AWESOME I'm considering taking this to nursing homes so they can participate 2gether in creating items. As well as work with kids who may want to create for gifts for family and friends as well for seniors who may WELCOME the gift 🎁 ❤
What a wonderful idea, to have residents who are in care, create some of these projects. Great for their mind, their eye hand coordination, it's a chance to sit with others and chat as they create or if someone's shy on chatting, they can focus on creating. Overall it will hopefully bring up some fond memories for them too. Good luck with it. 🇦🇺
Great ideas...Ive seen some of these done before on other videos...was wondering why make a bottle brush tree from a toilet brush when you can buy bottle brush trees of varying sizes and colors from the Dollar Tree?
I loved the toilet brush adaption in to Xmas trees mainly because it's hard to find them Down Under 🇦🇺🐨 and because you can paint them to the exact shade that you want. Only problem, we don't have those sort of toilet brushes either. 😢 Nor do we have Dollar Stores that are stocked with such an array of various bits n bobs that would be handy for many creative endeavours. I will have to start scouring every type of Dollar / Discount / Reject / Super cheap type of store. 🎉
@pollyanna1112 that's a shame that you don't have Dollar Tree stores or anything similar where you live...I know that Dollar Tree has a website where you can order things and have them shipped but the problem is they make you buy a whole case at a time
Walmart is selling colorful little trees similar to the ones in the beginning. I think they're a dollar for one right now, but you won't have to waste the other materials like the handle. Video does have some cute crafts tho! 😊
You could make several trees from each toilet brush and have the satisfaction of thinking "I made that" when you look at them. I'll bet there are uses for those handles, as well. Off the top of my head...hot glue them together in a circular shape, either paint or spray on an adhesive and then cover them in glitter. PRESTO...lovely snowflakes!
@@TisEyerish1 yes, especially if you can gather kids of all ages (school age through to young adults) and if you know any elderly folk nearby who don't get out much, it would be nice to invite them over for tea n cookies n present the toilet brush ideas and hold an impromptu (albeit organized 😂😂) creative arvo. Having a mix of oldies with young kids would bring in a Xmas spirit too. As you said, it's the fun of making, thf joy of saying I did that - even if they end up a bit wonky looking. I like your snowflake idea for the left over handles. They'd come in handy as paint tin stirrers / plant stakes / kids/adults could make photo frames from them too - if you made the old school days ones using paddle pop/ icy pole sticks and then used the white toilet brush handle to glue on around the base as the frame. 🎉
@@pollyanna1112 It's funny you should say that, pollyanna...I live in senior housing and just said to the building manager the other day that we should have kids from a local day care center come to our community room once a month and do activities with them...simple crafts, read them stories, have a sing-along, etc. Some don't have grandparents; some of the ladies who live here don't have grandkids, so we could also have an "adopt a grandma (or grandchild)" program. I think it could be a lot of fun and enriching for young and old alike!
That cactus Christmas tree was pretty cool and different that's something I haven't seen before very. A lot of these were pretty cool I may be trying a few myself
Although many are cute, all I can think about is all the environmental waste from the industries that make the plastic , glue and cheap metal. The slave labor in Asia and our landfills full of trash. That said, my favorite is the big pool noodlewreath, the big bells and and the paperbag wreath lol
Although if you twist that perspective upside down, you are recycling what was destined to be landfill waste and breathing extra life in to them. Yeah I know, it's a stretch in the world of perspective changing, but I tried to be positive 😂 After all, we all need to do what POLLYANNA did and FIND SOMETHING TO BE GLAD ABOUT EACH DAY .... There's a lot of great ideas, the ones made with balloons are not as the balloons will deflate.
Especially given balloons are dangerous for native life - birds, fish, choke + strangle on deflated balloons and sadly so do children.
